GW News: LAS VEGAS OPEN 2025

Who cares about orks?

DKoK baby...

I agree on the Death Korps of Krieg models look amazing, but I do very much care about Orks:troll:

Be it AoS Orks, but even so these new models of Killteam look very very good.
Also I love the esthetics of the Beast Snaggas. The White armor suits them nice

There are some solutions to Rumour Engines in today's reveals.

Grrr, Imrahil

Personally I’m the opposite, new Orks are great for more Xenos love, but couldn’t give a flying frak about First World War Germans with Lasguns. We already have sh*tloads of Imperium stuff, and turning Octarius (exclusively Tyranids vs Orks) into a rehash of Armageddon was unnecessary.

But to each their own.

French not German.
also the guard has been ignored about as much as xenos have. kits for SM does very little for a guard player and saying your fine the imperium has gotten loads is like saying skaven don't need anything slaanesh just got an update. sure they are both chaos but really now.

While I am glad that the Kreigers finally have plastic infantry kits, I'd be more excited by Tallarn, Valhalla, or Steel Legion. Krieg has had model support for as long as Forge World has been publishing the Siege of Vraks via Imperial Armour, whereas the others are still stuck in Finecast purgatory at best.

true Vostroyans need a kit ... or 9

I was more implying:
- we knew orks are coming, there were already leaks, while DKoK is a total surprise.
- IG is the neglected son of imperium at GW' eyes. Space Marines are loved but guards are stuck with old cadians, while the lore is filled with amazing possibilities.

Love the new Ork models, particularly the plastic Deffkoptas, they were long overdue.

Shame to see there’s no sign of Tyranids yet, but given GW have said this is just the first wave of Octarius stuff, I imagine the Hive Fleets will arrive later to mop up the leftovers of the Imperial vs Ork mashup.

And it’s great to see Black Templars finally being given some recognition, @Warden will be overjoyed!

I am excited!

I expect I will wait a while before I purchase anything new, whether its orks or Templars.

The old Emperor's Champion model is still my favorite 40K model, I wonder if it will get primaris scaled.

Painted him so long ago! :shamefullyembarrased:

It's honestly kind of surprising how few IG regiments are actually supported, even if you take into account forgeworld. You'd think it'd be relativly easy, and more importantly profitable, to maintain a bunch of regiments. The vehicles don't differ much, so it's mostly a matter of having a few infantry sprues as well as a few head-alternatives for the gunner in a tank and such, and those heads you can probably re-use from the infantry squads anyway.

I mean all you really need to support is a command squad, a heavy weapons team & a infantry squad. Because those are the only ones who's uniforms are really visible. And there's obviously parts you can reuse as well, simplifying the whole ordeal.

First we had Gordrakk, the Fist of Gork, now we have Gobsprakk, the Mouth of Mork:

Fantastic model, it’s been a while since we’ve seen a Vulture in Warhammer Fantasy/AoS, and the first time we’ve seen a giant one! Though it’ll most likely be horribly expensive...

The kit can also be made into another Killaboss variant riding an armoured vulture, which looks even better:

Kruleboyz are the new hotness, so they'll probably get a huge second wave of models like Lumineth did.

For lack of a proper 360° preview, here you have the video:

Gobsprakk's monologue is quite cool: Gordrakk pretty much just leads, but he is implicitly said that he is lying to the entirety of the Warclanz, and maybe the entirety of Destruction.

'E also seems to have 'is own Pot Grot:

Rulewise, he has a pretty interesting ability too:

I love the Killaboss on Corpse-rippa Vulcha option too: the vulcha looks just like a tauren druid in epic flight form, and together they look a lot like the Warbosses on Wyverns from the Old World.

Then you remember that birds are flying dinosaurs and you make me jealous.

I told you, spawnkin, nowadays is easy to be green.

Greenskins are getting spoiled, and I am really happy and envy at the same time. I'm henpy.

Hopefully, in 4th Edition Seraphon will be one of the Starting races, I love our sacred spawning, but we can improve our ranks in the fight for The Great Plan...

meh, at least they haven't got a tome yet so it's still their first wave for now :p

New Stormcast and Orruk Warclans are probably going to be the first books to come out. But yeah, releasing a new Lumineth tome less than a year after the first one was such a weird decision.

Not probably, they ARE, period.

I believe I remember reading on here somewhere that Forge World is going to be handling TOW?! If so, what does that mean exactly?

I think that same post compared it to how 40k & Horus Heresy are being run. Does that mean we'll be getting mainly over-priced resin minis for a system that will more than likely require a much higher model count?

I understand basically nothing is known about how it'll be handled and this is all speculation, but I will say, that if this is the case, I'm just getting the rules and the tomes for my armies and will be 3D printing everything!! /Rant lol

What are your thoughts?
