I like the new greenskins a lot.
But then I was never a fan of the Warhammer orc style.

As for the Stormcast: making them more human (with real heads and stuff instead of just the generic look) certainly has helped their aesthetic. I am still not exactly their biggest fan but I can live with those new ones a lot better.

Overall:
I think that with the last few releases GW is getting closer to what I consider just right.
The complexity of the models allows good painters to paint great details, while still not making them too detailed to be fun to paint for newer guys or people who want to paint mass armies.
I also like the less goofy art style.
 
Get the 44 pages of core rules here! Literally 11 times the pages the game started with! (I would say the percentage, but I suck at that kind of math).

Monsters now count as 5 when taking objectives (and more stuff).

Yeah, I hate this limited edition route that GW are now going down for Indomitus and now Dominion, because it just seems pointless - why have all of this bother when they could have just released those boxes permanently as the main boxed games, with the smaller Recruit and Elite editions alongside them as budget sets, just as they did with Dark Imperium and Soul Wars?

And yep, scalpers are bastards. I know everything they do is legal and works in free trade and all, but I still think it’s morally dubious. The law of conscience should trump the law of business if society is worth its salt.
 
I don't get why they don't just keep 1-2 of these starter sets, lets say the last two, around indefinitly. Seems like the perfect box to draw in fresh players as it actually contains two decently worked out armies alongside some fluff.

Jokes on you, there is actually still on existence to this wednesday, my dude.

You had to queue and the orders were limited to two per user. Maybe AoS is not the juggernaut (or dreadnaught, that's up to you) that is 40K, but it is amazing that it is still available up to 5 days later. Maybe it is a actually a hidden Made to Order release to fool scalpers.

  • Citadel Colour Masterclass: advanced painting videos. With a girl as a host, so this is an absolute win. No signals of Duncan coming back tho.
  • Loremasters: Classes of lore by masters of it. Hey, you give me very little to work with titles like this.
  • Battle Reports: There's a spin here: the battle themselves are the ones who report themes they liked around the week- no, it isn't, wysiwyg.
I am extremely surprised with GW right now. In a pleasing way.

Dominion release was smooth as silk and Warhammer+ is not the trainwreck I admittedly wanted it to be.

I at least am very hyped for proper Masterclass videos (who knows, maybe they will bring 'Eavy Metal and Golden Demon personalities at some point).

Still, I will wait a little longer before adding an annual sub to the card. And I do wonder what those "exclusive subscriber offers" really are. I'm not expecting anything juicy, but I wouldn't be upset to get one.
