Well thats extremely short sighted and disappointing. They could get a bunch of new people interested in the settings if they put their stuff on a mass market platform like netflix or amazon video
Exclusive minis alongside it.
Can't wait to see if they will just shot themselves on the foot or straight up discharge the entire gun.
Next week, pre-orders for OUR PIMPED UP LORD KROAK and pretty much the last batch of AoS 2E.
Now, note this:

Pretty much spoiled that the next starter kit for AoS is named Dominion, and not only that:

Rumours about hobgoblins? pretty much confirmed in Warhammer+ reveal.

Not really a fan of those. Also @NIGHTBRINGER we’ve got our first official Hobgoblin models:

That's the same thought I had. A definite shift away from the classic (more cartoonish) aesthetic of the previous Orcs & Goblins.they do somewhat remind me more of LotR Orcs
Yeah, I'm not sure how I feel about the very LoTR look of these orks. It's cool, but definitely a shift from the classic Warhammer ork. That's the same thought I had. A definite shift away from the classic (more cartoonish) aesthetic of the previous Orcs & Goblins.
Not my cup of tea either, but yes, they are much better. The new stormcast models are a HUGE improvement over the existing ones.
Personally I'm really liking the Kruleboyz! I hope that they are able to go into the Big Waaagh! faction when they release, as the more different kinds of Orks working together the betterI imagine they'll be more fun to fight than Ironjawz and Bonesplitterz, basically all either of those armies do is try and charge you turn 1 and table you before you can get ahead on objectives... I much prefer the "kunnin' " theme of these guys, plus they do somewhat remind me more of LotR Orcs, and that's pretty cool.

Yeah these certainly look more like Middle Earth Orcs, and another interesting aspect of them is that though they are confirmed to be Orcs, they look more like a hybrid of Orc and Goblin, because they have narrower lower jaws than upper jaws, a trait more often found in Goblins, as opposed to classic Orcs who have the reverse, as can be seen in the Ironjawz models:But damn it I'm more fascinating by the new Kruleboyz.
The only thing that worries me about them is that they end up being too kunnin' for their own good fluffwise. I do like me sum' kunnin' yet brutal boyz, but they are starting to look a bit too sophisticated for greenskins.
The prospect of learning and overall more intellectual greenskins can be interesting yet extremely alienating, more because they are looking almost straight out from Jackson's LotR.
I'm also not a fan of their shiny red shields, but I am confident that they will look glorious painted with oily, grimmey, earthen colours, and having at least one heavy weapon again is something I have been wishing for a while. Maybe some day Da Big WAAAGH! will get crude catapults and maybe a trebuchet and a better battering ram.
Anyway, LOVED the Gnashtoof: reminded me a lot of one of México' dog breeds, the xoloitzcuintle:

I will focus on the SC side.
The new stormcast models are a HUGE improvement over the existing ones.
One could day it wasn't a hard task, but still.
Still not my cup of tea by a long shot, but the chariot for example is really good.
Storminators are the only new guys I really didn't liked: the shield is awesome, end of their story.
Meanwhile, everyone else look pretty cool: the wizard would be a hard choice to custome for me, both her diadem and mask are really cool.

Also, Lord-Stupidestnameverum has a really awesome dwarfish helmet. CLAP. Need more of that.

Everyone else looks much better then what their Firstforged brethren looked liked when they came out for the first time, quite literally a first draw versus a detailed product.
And the future models are extremely cool looking, thanks to the Gryph-beasts, but the chariot on itself is quite cool looking, and yet again the crude ballista and having trolls as mounts is just fantastic.

Only in relation to being better than another SCE. I suppose even a SCE can be better/worse than another SCE.
