Well, that was disappointing, Vampires get more unnecessary crap (the previous Dire Wolf sculpts were perfectly fine) and Kragnos is appearing on his own without a Centaur faction being led by him, another waste of a potential idea. Also Kragnos will be the last book in the Broken Realms saga, meaning GW only gave Fyreslayers a couple of updated profiles to avoid giving them any new models once again.

I have to disagree with you about those previous dire wolves. They were not that great aesthetically.

But, I agree that Kragnos not getting a cool new destruction army to go along with him seems like a missed opportunity. But I imagine it will be something for GW to add later down the line.

It's also a shame that Fyreslayers aren't getting anything new for now. No dwarf love for the moment (except for a potential White Dwarf showing in Broken Realms).

He is a beast, sadly our lizard rumour engine is to be found on the base of him. So not another new Seraphon model.

The introduction clip of the new book made clear that Kragnos is the sole survivor of his race, so there probably will not be a new faction release. He is the god that can be taken into any Destruction list, I guess.

Yet another large and spikey/flimsy model reveal.... They did not think enough about transport or playability(model-wise).
I like the heavy wolf theme they have got going on.

That Rudakar and companions could easily be part of the Cursed City box in style of design.

That's a great point. A couple of those models are purely for display purposes. I'd be afraid of breaking them even while painting them. Definitely not game worthy.
 
I want to go on chronological order:
  1. I really liked the chest on The Mother of Nightmares, and thought that she had a nice mount, a a new animal... then I flipped over and realised it was HER. At the moment I thought it was truly cool and fitting of a "nightmare". Now I think it is silly and quite impractical and I wonder how do they walk. I really like them and think "yeah but why?" at the same time. If they were the usual vampire lord on a gargoyle like mount this would be an insta banger in my book. Also, RIP Nightmares. I like the new Blood Knights, but I don't like the fact that they are riding skelehorses instead of angry zombiehorses.
  2. Radukar: Cursed City is still out of print BTW.
  3. Dire Wolves MVPs here. I love me some fwuffy bwois and gwils. I can't believe current are plastic at all, and the new ones will work great as Chaos Warhound proxies. And that raven eating the back of one of them. 10/10.
  4. Pro-Wolf-Lives Cruella deVille Granny is truly a Queen, a "Beautiful Lady", if you like".
  5. Mobile game nobody ca- oh fuck, that Chibi-Kroxigor is just a bag of cuteness and love. I'm only looking foward that.
  6. Kragnie: okay so I thought he was going to be a mercenary God from the Beastmen and then would have lend his services to any faction. Turns out he is entirely new God from Destruction and can be part of any army. Okay so he is the fourth... "archetype"? of miniature to do that after Archie, Megas and Be'lie.
    Also, he is the "last" of his people, but remember that Nagash was the only of his sub faction and then sometime later he made the OBR, so expect the God of Earthquakes to start creating centauroid earth elementals or something in the next few years.
    I really like him, particularly having optional mouths, but I already see him overpriced as all Chaosrealm, despite he being much smaller then what GW is selling him: standing on a big rock and that rock is already on a greater level, but in the War-Com article he is almost right next and the exact same size than a Thundertusk. Wonder how he managed to break a tooth of Gorkamorka (or Morkagorka?).
What I really didn't liked about this?

TOO SHORT!

Now that we know that they left Destruction for the last Broken Realms, I wonder what special boxes will they put out to sale. A big Orc-A-Palooza? An Ogre All-You-Can-Eat Buffet? 3x2 Giants? A bucket load of Goblins?

They probably won't add another Lizardmen one because of the last box, despite Kroak's re-release, but I'm quite confident in that they will add Sylvaneth, Slaanesh, or both, bundles, so I expect another hot sale.

Then maybe a Freeguilds or Teclis force, don't give Khorne even a fleeting mention and call it a day.

Plus like YOU said, the huge base models are going to be impossible to rank up properly. So no interest from me.
 
I like the little chunks of scatter terrain these are standing on.

Too bad those little terrain pieces could not be ordered as a set.

I certainly hope this will be the case - even though the faction hasn’t appeared yet, it could be that GW are saving them to be revealed in the Third Edition boxed game as they did with Nighthaunt for Second Edition. I certainly hope this will be the case.

DoK is Daughters of Khaine, the AoS expansion of Witch Elves, who are in Order but would make much more sense being part of Chaos because all they do is have lesbian orgies in the blood of innocents and worship the Elf incarnation of Khorne.

All of that stuff you’ve mentioned was from day 1 alone :facepalm:. Have you actually read any of the Warhammer Community articles?

Day 2 was Sisters of Battle crap
Day 3 was Black Library crap
Day 4 will be boxed games, so Underworlds, Necromunda, Blood Bowl e.t.c
Day 5 will be more 40K, hopefully Orks, perhaps Tyranids or Genestealer Cults too
Day 6 we don’t know what will be shown. People are hopeful it’s Warhammer: The Old World, but it could be something else for AoS, perhaps a tease of what might be happening in Third Edition.
