GW News: LAS VEGAS OPEN 2025

Looks like Slaanesh is getting even more mortal reinforcements next year, @NIGHTBRINGER will be pleased:

We don’t know the full specifics of the kits yet, but we do know the rough nature of each new unit:
  • Foot archers
  • Steed-mounted archers (probably Monstrous Cavalry size as the Steeds are Exalted)
  • Exalted Steed heavy cavalry
  • Slaangors (a full plastic kit this time rather than a single model)
I personally don’t think much of these (the Slaanesh Beastmen are somewhat OK, but my Beastmen army is going to be Khorne and Tzeentch-themed, partly because the Mark of Slaanesh on everything except Skin Wolves is awful in 8th Edition, partly because I prefer Khorne and Tzeentch anyway), but Slaanesh fans waiting for more mortals will hopefully be pleased.

Now begs the question... where’s that Fyreslayer second wave GW? *taps one foot impatiently*

As said in another thread, i don't like slaanesh daemons... mortal hedonites are more interesting (not that i will ever collect them, but at least they don't irk me)

I don't like Slaaneshi daemons. They're coarse and rough and irritating and they get every, EVERY, where.

I'm loving these riders, the Slickblade Seekers I think they are named:

This take on Slaanesh having some kind of Greek-esque heavy troops and pseudo-Persian light troops is quite cool Imo.

Also, Slaangors.

This pleases my weak spot for Beastmen: they are like the actual Chaos Lizardmen counter. Skaven are more like antithesis.

If anything, Slaanesh will enjoy his/her/whatevs Valentine's Day, unless there is a new faction out of the blue.

It’ll have to be a new faction getting a tome, as the Slaanesh models have all been previewed before and Hedonites have a new Battletome. If anything the new Slaanesh models will get their rules in a Broken Realms book because they’re an existing faction.

We’ll find out just what faction it is in a couple of days...

All GW have said about TOW is that news about it will appear sometime in 2021. As to when, your guess is as good as mine.
