GW News: LAS VEGAS OPEN 2025

Well, while we wait for Total Warhammer II (and save a bit for upgrading our PCs):

This week's Rumour Engine: https://www.warhammer-community.com/2017/04/05/rumour-engine-april-5th-2017/

So, with this and previous leaks, we've got:

  1. A little winged snake, perching on a humanoid arm, like if it was tamed for hawking.
  2. A heavy chain-claw, dragging a mud-like substance.
  3. A seashell.

I can not believe is not a Scourge Privateers expansion. And I hoping for one on the same quality level as the Sylvaneth one. Damn, even FW could sell a Black Ark.

Or they could be undeath pirates, but that winged snake look quite alive for me.

GW will make the Shadow War: Armageddon rules more widely available, and will also expand the number of playable factions in the game: https://www.warhammer-community.com/2017/04/05/shadow-war-armageddon-rules-support/

New Custodes jetbikes, and a transfer sheet for Traitorous Knights: https://www.warhammer-community.com/2017/04/07/golden-jetbikes-and-traitorous-knights/

The first noticeable Liberatress model from the Stormcast Eternals from Warhammer Underworlds: Shadespire and a tiny bit of info about her here: https://www.warhammer-community.com/2017/04/07/warhammer-underworlds-focus-angharad-brightshield/

Take a closer look to the Blood Bowl teams available on Made to Order, for only this week: https://www.warhammer-community.com/2017/04/08/made-to-order-born-to-blitz/

And today, two of the most dangerous monsters of Chaos got an update: https://www.warhammer-community.com/2017/04/08/vortex-and-slaughter-the-beasts-are-back/

The Mutalith Vortex Beast got has the Tzeentch keyword, while the Slaughterbrute won the Khorne keyword, and now has to be binded to a Khorne Mortal Hero.

While the Mutalith Vortex Beast can benefit from the Masters of Destiny, the Slaughterbrute is gonna have a blast alongside its new best friends; Bloodsecrator and Bloodstoker. :D

Is also nice to see GW updating units this way. This is a really good move for me.

Finally, check out the new scenery pieces that were introduced with Shadow War: Armageddon, that are now available individually:

The first kit costs £45, while the other two costs £30, and each one is modular, so you will be able to build very different pieces, and they can even be combined with the Haemotrope Reactor, Promethium Relay Pipes and Void Shield Generator. Multiple kits will make amazing gaming tables.

Also, I think we already saw that silo door before: https://www.warhammer-community.com/2017/02/01/rumour-engine-february-1st-2017/

Well, this week has been really nice. Now we only have to wait to see the Kharadron Overlords.

See you around!

new rumor thingy has been released. Looks kinda nurgle like.

Oh man, if thats more nurgle to release alonaide th 40k Deathguard stuff....so many wallets will be destroyed.

That is a nice skeleton warrior. And if TK is coming back, I hope they flesh out the Ushabti models. I loved their look in general but given GWs current workmanship I bet they can out do themselves.

Apparently GW streamed a bit of the new Dwarfs, having good ranged weapons, one unit being able to grapple closer to enemy models.
Some models are specialised in Hero/Monster hunting.

The new faction is something truly old, coming back to unlife...

Deathrattle Sepulchrals

Well, something new is always good, and I love that hero, but it's not that Death was lacking skeletal infantries... I have the feeling of a missed opportunity.
Good looking models!

:shifty: ... sounds a bit tombkingy :bag:
If only!

I'd be so happy if they released some Tomb King stuff.

And if TK is coming back
I doubt it. :(

Perhaps the Tomb Kings might not return fully, but we do know Nagash is undead and skeletal in AoS story. I think it stands to...not reason, but fair speculation that ,while TK might not return proper, Nagash might raise a new force that resembles his ancestral home (faction).

But, to be fair, I know as much as Jon Snow.

Most of the dwarf stuff seems really powerful, but I'm not sure which part of the meta they're trying to address with the rules. Will be interesting to see how it plays out.

Sadly, I think they have left that old world aesthetic behind. We'll get undead for sure, but I doubt it will be Egyptian themed. I'd love to be wrong though!

:joyful::joyful::joyful:

When it comes to the inner workings of GW, I think we are all in the same boat. Speculation is all we got!

Deathrattle Sepulchrals

Yes, because that heavy medieval armor screams Nehekhara. :D

I believe he meant that the name Deathrattle Sepulchrals sounds Tomb Kingish. As in the 8th edition Tomb King unit Sepulchral Stalkers.

Yep, as my company was blocking all the links.
The name was pretty much all I have to go on.

adjective: sepulchral
  1. relating to a tomb or interment.
    "sepulchral monuments"
