GW News: LAS VEGAS OPEN 2025

I think they look pretty good, but they really didn't stretch their imagination with these dudes did they? Steam punk dwarves who could Imagine such a thing?!
Well, Elder Scrolls can. :D Also Warcraft to a certain degree. Although the latter stole more from Warhammer than vice versa I think.

It's more likely that you'll get Lizardmen in terminator armour. :p
I want this to be true so very badly!
No @Bowser ... bad @Bowser . That's it, I'm sending the Mario Bros. after you. :p

What I also kinda dislike are the jetpack guys. IMO they don't look too great and in my mind dwarves =/= mobile.
Then you're in luck, those jet packs don't look very mobile at all.
I kind of want to incorporate some of their steampunk tech into our larger dinosaurs...

Robo-Carnosaur incoming!
There you go...

Well if they are putting lizards in heavy armour, I still kind of want it to fit the Aztec/Mayan theme. Keeps the army consistent then.
That would be the hope for sure, but it seems that they are really making a clean break aesthetically from what came before.

With us already having a battletome I dont seem them breaking from it completely.

I like these dwarf models a lot personally. Will probably pick them up as a second army when they release, will be nice to have something as strong as the new releases too.

Well they did recently give Stormcast models without helms, I wouldnt be surprised if the same comes along for these Dwarf guys. I feel like they need at least one with no helm and a monocle or some steampunk goggles just to round things out. :P

I really like these new dwarfs, it's an interesting evolution of things like the gyrocopter / bombardier.
I find them more appealing (to me, at least) than the fyreslayers

Now that you mention it... yeah, me too. Although I have to say the Fyreslayers' big beasts are nice as well. The rest of the models not so much though, at least IMO.

I think they are revamping all the pre - generals handbook armies. So, aren't Seraphon next in line?

Interesting.
However, the thing I would like more, it would be something new for the Death faction, which, actually, is by far the poorer one.

Frankly, I've had enought of tournaments where it's all "Look: a death army, it's Flesh Eater Court. Look, another death army, it's Flesh Eater Court"

Personally, I would't be surprised if Seraphon get an updated Battletome after the release of General's Handbook 2.0. There are so many other factions (Death Faction, Aelves of all flavours, Slaanesh followers) that have had no books or much in updates since AOS started that they really should be dealt with first.

Well i do hope they hold on us. Mainly because i feel if they hold on us its nore likely we wil get new models to go alongwith them updated rules

That's certainly a valid point of view as well! :)

And I also agree: Death needs some love. I browsed around a bit and almost all Death lists are FEC and/or something with Mournguls. I would like to start Deathrattle (and I probably will, regardless of how much they suck) but playing pure Deathrattle is pretty much suicide I guess.
