See? There's always a bright side on everything
I agree that most models have some redeeming feature, but too little too late... especially at that price tag.
Now, 85 british pounds for one. I could actually consider grab one of this guys, seems fair enough (for me guys, don't throw me rocks, please).
I would argue the opposite ("argue" in a friendly non rock throwing sort of way

). I think that price is absolutely brutal. For comparisons sake consider...
Look at that contrast in price.
$170 vs. $64.50. The Star Drake is 2.6 times as expensive

. I the only argument that I can imagine being made is that the Stardrake is likely the larger of the two. Aside from that...
- they are both dragons
- they are both made of plastic
- they are both centerpiece models
- they both come with a range of options (multiple heads, multiple weapons, etc.)
- they are both highly detailed
- they are both produced by the same company
Personally I like the look of the Black Dragon far better, but that is personal aesthetics. The argument can be made either way depending on personal preference. I believe the Black Dragon also comes with a completely different alternate rider which is cool, I'm not sure about the Stardrake (edit: looks like it does too... as least as much one stormcast is different from another

) .
Having said that, the relative worth of a model is extremely subjective and thus if the model is worth that cost to you then by all means buy it (no rocks will be thrown I promise

). Many people will buy it... which is what GW is banking on. I'm just wondering how far they can push the envelope; when does it become too much?... $250, $300, etc.
