So GW finally made good on the Fishmen army joke? That said the deepkin have a very eldarish/40k feel to them with the armor imo. With minimal conversion I can see those models in a dark eldar or themed craftworld army.

A lot of talk has been going around on Facebook about using them for exodites

Meh, I think that has more to do with the fact that by now our fluff is from a time AoS didn't make much sense as a whole yet. Much like how a load of our models feel "weird" due to powercreep some of the fluff has become weird and outdated.. basicly we just need another tome.

Agreed, a couple of key tweaks of the lore should do it.

The premise of space faring aztec dinosaurs I think is fine though.

It can work, but looking strictly at the models it feels a bit off. The models don't give off that space faring vibe at all (for obvious reasons). A space faring aztec theme could work, but that simply isn't what we currently have.

I think a mix of what we have and the kukuklani from c'mon would work

Looks like the cape guy will have multiple build options, one being a warrior the other a mage.

It's a bit tough to tell from the picture, but this one looks especially fragile... even by GW's latest standards. I could be wrong though, we'll get a better idea when a clearer picture is released.

Good point. I'm hoping that the entire thing as Hollow so he's not too top-heavy

I would hope that the whole model isn't supposed to be supported by that single stream of water. It's tough to tell because that part of the model is a bit obscured in the picture.

There's some Elven ruins at the bottom that look like the cloak curves into. As As an asise, check out the cool female caster behind the big dude. She She's standing on a statue head

You could be right. That would make the model at least a bit more sturdy.
