AoS Gotrek

It’s a cool idea, but he lacks fly and to do this would mean sinking more into this to make it even somewhat viable.

ATM he's a 520 pts brick. He desperately needs some help.
If i were to field him, i will probably put the model in the most advanced possible position, spending a command point to have him move 10" in the first turn, thus reaching the middle of the battlefield.
At that point, you create a sort of "null zone" with at least 11" radius.

Cogs would be helpful, of course. Almost mandatory, i'd say.

As written, it's a Real Challenge to use Gotrek.

I don’t think he was ever supposed to be playable. I think he was meant for casual people to play with on their kitchen table. At least I hope that’s what it is. Because if someone at GW is patting themselves on the back right now going “we did such a good job with such an amazing character. Can’t wait to see this guy at a tournament...” then I’ve lost hope the rules staff actually knows how their game works.

Yeah, he wasn't made with the intent of being a staple of tournament play.

Maybe a dumb question, but can you give him incandescent rectrices?

If not is there anything like it that has a similar effect, making him a pain to kill?
