Hell, even Chaos Warriors with halberds need to hit him about 24 times on average.

can I get some Mathhammer on this?

Well Warriors come at WS5 and S5 (with halbards) so unless I'm wrong 24 attacks/2 = 12 hits/2 = 6 wounds* 0.33 (they modify our armour save from 1+ into 3+) = 1.98 wounds.

Wouldn't 12 attacks be common to face when up against a unit of warriros of chaos? So he'd be able to survive on full round and then maybe die, which could be an issue because on average my math tells me that 3 SVs, an OB, at least 5 CORs and the skavenpelt banner would only do roughly 12 wounds, so unless the unit is only 18 models big I wouldn't do a frontal charge .

Overall though the AS of 1+ is alright, but I'd be very careful with it since the model with the banner comes at around 200pts if I'm not mistakening. Overall I don't think it's worth it on this unit because the unit will be too expensive for my liking

Overall, a scar vet is in btb with 3 warriors, so unless they have frenxy, they get 6 attacks in front and 3 supporting attacks (Warriors are generally too expensive for hordes). Nurgle is most common.
