So, I may have missed this but need to ask seeing as how my entry is going to be riding the line....

What time on the 31st do entries have to be in by?

End of day (midnight) in your timezone. Though if someone deliver it sometime during the morning of August 1st we will allow the entry as well as the entire point with the competition it to spark interesting in the community :) (Though I would recommend against stretching the entry too long, as at one point we have to close for entries).

Luckily I've made some major progress so far this weekend so I should be good and may actually have time for the open entry.

Thanks for the guilt trip! I think I'll have something ready by this weekend I forgot how fun it was to paint haha
 
Holy smokes I only just discovered this painting competition! :eek:

I'm off to the store on my way home today for some paint. Hopefully I can get something done by July 31st!

Yep, I don't stand a chance, but hey, it's good motivation to get some paint on models and push yourself to the next level!

Don't forget it's members votes and we all have different tastes when it comes down to how models look. (but Fiona's stuff is :kiss:)

If you don't stand a chance we all may as well go home and take our ball with us!!!!, (hope I can sneak into the apprentice tier :stig:)

And I think there should be an Apprentice, Master and God tier and you 2 can bugger off in the God tier and leave us mortals to have a good old fight.
 
No God tier needed, go look at the blogs of @Fiona and @neveroddoreven and even @Crowsfoot. Don't be intimidated. Find the inspiration, find the things you like about their style, learn and don't be 3 afraid to ask questions. Then practice, practice, practice. Then when you take what you like from thise styles, and put your own spin on it, you will have your own fans. More importantly you will have a great army, painted your way, and you will have achieved a goal.

me too haha. oh well maybe If I hurry I may be able to finish my starpriest. this sure sounds like fun.
