So did I get it right, that there need to be one picture of the unpainted model and one wip picture for an entry? Leaving four for the finished work?

There is an "upload file" button at the right of the "post reply" button. Just click on it and once it has been uploaded click on "thumbnail". That will attach the file so it can be seen with no need of opening the file or it to load.

The upload isn't present in the conversations. So tou would have to use BB codes.or possibly drag and drop if not in a mobile.

Oh so you mean conversations, I haven´t had one yet :p (well to be fair only one but I didn´t answer ;))

You are not being daft. As others have noted the conversations editor does not support an upload attachment button or a direct file upload.

@The Red Devil - is there a very good reason PM conversations can't upload image files? Does the rules section quoted above need some rewording since it can be read as saying it is possible to upload files to PMs? Could the special address for the contest be (or is it) an exception that will allow image file uploads?

That part of the rules was shamelessly copied from "Carpe Noctem's Golden Bat Rules". So I am honestly not certain what cases they were thinking on. I have talked with my designer and with his recommendations the rules will change slightly.

We will allow normal sharpening of the whole picture.

But we will not allow color adjustments or cutting/pasting in a new background.

Take a look on 1. f) for the updated rules.

I will need to look into this, I assumed everyone has this option as its available for me. It is most probably a setting somewhere that need to be changed. I am traveling at the moment, so will not have the chance to check this out before the end of the week.
