The board is getting serious. Plenty to do still.

1) use green spray paint to 'dim' those plastic plants.

2) seal the board better.

3) attach small plants

4) attach small bushes

5) fill water effect and apply resin to sides of boards as protective barrier.

This is great man! I love the feel of it, the trees are awesome.

All low areas will be filled with water effects than?
Wow.

Keep up the good work!

Hey thanks! And correct, the low areas will get filled with water effect. Right now, I finally got a hold of some "liquid rubber" spray for a heavy duty sealant, and I've been lacquering the sides of the board with epoxy resin to protect them, and I've glued in bushes.

Once that all cures/drys, I can put some tape around their edges and start filling in with water!

So hopefully by end of weekend this project will be done!

Amazing! @Gauntlet I am loving your 3D prints, especially that giant stegadon with its massive howdah! So looking forward to seeing you have it all painted :artist::artist:

Also really liking those saurus sculpts as well!

Welp the three boards are essentially done. With the best having become the display shelf board. Turns out Home Depot wasn't cutting their shit right and these were actually a half inch longer than I thought (lesson learned, don't trust anything and measure yourself). As a result, I bent and hammered the board into place... it can basically never be removed lol.

Aside from 2 white LED lights there is a hidden LED that is set to be quite green in these photos. This is my entire painted lizard force and all my terrain here.

Fantastic and amazing display case!

No clue what that first picture was supposed to be though?

I mentioned it was too long and I had to hammer and bend my shelf to fit it... the picture is one of those corners, so the shelf is bent a bit and the board is crushed a bit.

It's not leaving now lol

Pretty simple and effective paint scheme for 'snake skin' skinks.

Scaly hide base coat, heavy dry brush in poisonous cloud, brown then gold for ornaments, light tone ink wash over all of it.

Then was do yellow eyes, followed by orange, and siren scale paint from greenstuff world for the crest.

I then do a few scales in the poisonous cloud. Paint any feathers or such, and varnish.

Very fine work.

Yup you definitely mentioned it and I totally missed it

I completely agree with not going back to fix it after all that effort... if anything it will remind you what to do when you make the next one! :joyful:

Really nice work on that skink, you nailed the snake look! :artist:

First batch of 10 skinks. Also a spare parts cannon thing.

These guys were largely for practice and I'm pleased with how they came out.

With the table/display done, these guys out of the way, and a bunch of unrelated backlog done... I can focus on Terradons next I believe.
