Hey all, new here, and somewhat new to Fantasy. This is a modification of a list that I lost with earlier this weekend, against my friends Skaven horde, hopefully the tuning will help. Make me feel like an idiot.

Scar Vet: Light armor
Enchanted Sheild

Skink Priest: Dispel Scroll
Rod of Storm

15 Saurus Warriors: Spears
FC

11 Skink Skirmishers (x2)

5 Cold one Cal

2 Sallie hunting packs

3 Terradon Riders

Last time my 1 sallie got sniped early on by warp fire thrower, and my saurus block got cut down by warp lightning cannon before i could drop rocks and charge it. This time the extra sallies, and rod of storm should help to snipe his artillery while i sweep his flank with COCs. Sallies for terrifying his slaves and so on. Once again, let me know how horribly out of whack this is. Thanks!

Rod of the storm is pretty useless, you won't be able to drain enought dispel dice to get it off and its pretty bad against skaven as its only truly effective against high armored troops or expensive elite troops, skaven lacks both. The scar vet set up is very suboptimal, either mount him on a Cold One and give him a Haleberd, spear or magical weapon, with only a hand weapon he doesn't really hit that hard.

Imo Saurus are way better in units of 12 or 18 deployed in 2x6 or 3x6. You can still go for a unit of 15 saurus ofc but I strongly recommend deploying them in 6 wide formation (6+6+3). This way you get a bunch of extra attack which is way better than 1 extra rank (which disappeares when a single saurus dies).

2 Sallie hunting packs

3 Terradon Riders

Seems pretty good, Personally I'd never use 2 sallies in a single pack as they become a bit of a point sink but I guess they do okay against skaven as they have a ton of ranked infantry units that are vurnarable to template weapons. You might want to take extra skink handlers tho to protect you from misfire.

If a sallie got shot by a fire thrower you must've really messed up. Both have the same range but the salamander can move 6" in any direction and still shoot while the Warp Fire is Move or Shoot, which means you should never be in range unless you wan't to. It also takes a lot of luck to kill a salamander pack with a single flame (you can easily spread you skinks out in a way so he can't hit them all) as he both need a 3+ roll to wound the sallie and then roll a 5-6 to kill it. Use cammo skinks or Terradons Drop Rock ability to take out the weapon teams early, before they can do any damage.

Thanks for the feedback. I went over the list a few times, and here's what I came out with...

Scar Vet - Light Armor
Burning Blade of Chotec
Shield
Cold One

Skink Priest - Dispell Scroll

15 Saurus - Spears
Musician
Standard

11 Skink Skirmishers (x2)

5 COCs

Sallie HP (x2) - 1 Extra handler

3 Terradon Riders

The only thing I'm contemplating changing is dropping a few saurus (since ill have the Scar vet satisfying 2 ranks of 6) and giving them a Champion, and possibly adding another Skink or two. Other than that, I feel it's pretty solid.
