The current forum software is aging, so we will upgrade to the latest XenForo version.

We have been working on this for a while now, ensuring that our design will look the same after the upgrade, and also that the plugins running have been modified/upgraded as well.

Sometime during the coming weekend (28-29th March), we will put the forum into maintenance mode and perform the upgrade. This process should not take more than 3-4 hours.

If the forum does not load when you try to access it, just wait a few hours, and we will be back.

Maybe it's just me, but the resolution of everything seems improved. The forum looks crisper and sharper.

The forum style/theme had to be completely rewritten, so on most devices/monitors, at least parts of the forum will look sharper.

Unfortunately, since the borders, icons, etc., are hand-drawn, we could not increase their resolution.

Not exactly new, as it was one we scrapped during the original update a decade ago. But decided it did not hurt adding it when doing the upgrade.

It looks good. Previously many of the avatar pictures looked slightly blurry and now they look sharp.

Looking good so far from my end. Usability on mobile also improved. Thank you Red Devil.
 
...when i want to insert a smile, i only see the last ones... the "extended" and the "animals" appear to be empty
