Around a year ago, we started the process of preparing to move the community to a different and more modern forum software. It has been a long journey, but we have finally done the switch.

There is a few changes from the old forum, the largest ones are.

1. Post Images
You can now attach images directly to the post and upload them to the forum. This will hopefully make it easier to post in the Painting & Converting forum. To upload images chose Attachment and then select the images you want to attach to your post.

2. Avatar Update
The size of the Avatar used has changed, and it is a little larger than on the old forum.
So if you feel that your Avatar looks a little pixelated, please upload it again from your profile page.
We have also added a few new avatars that you can use as well.​

3. Customizable Header
Multiple header graphics, the forum randomly select a header image every thirty minutes. If you prefer to always use one of them, you have the option to manually chose which to see under "Header Preferences" on your profile page.​

4. Mobile Friendly
The forum is mobile/pad friendly, the graphics should automatically switch if you use a device with a smaller screen.​

If you encounter any issues while using the new forum, please let us know.

Kudos to whoever redid our lovely forums! This is amazing!

On a side note can I get a copy of the image at the top for FB background? That's an amazing picture.

AND we can Like threads?! This is too cool.

Agreed, theme really comes out well here. Web designers did a good job.

Wow, this is so sweet! I am so distracted from reading the posts because I just want to look at all of your amazing images! The functions are MUCH more user-friendly now! Posting pictures is a snap! Thank you to whoever worked on this!

It deserves a Spider-man. :spiderman:

awesome! would have loved a SoB design too, but this is second best not by much xD no seriously. this is beautifull :3 good job

oh and where do i get trophy points. i want some :O

aaaand i seem to finally need a avatar picture. having none is not tolarable now with the new design...
 
Looks great, but where is the 'view unread posts' option? I live by that filter.

I feel similarly about the 'view your posts' filter. Very handy for keeping track of my postings.

I think I'm going to miss the emoticon for blowing up a T-Rex with a bazooka also :p
 
Lol I thought my work computer was messing up the site. Then I realized it was a slick new interface. Me likee...
 
Concerning the Headers....where is that artwork from?! It's awesome! Where can I download those fullsize images for my desktop!??

One minor gripe, not a fan of the avatar of the thread creator in front of the thread title on the forum page. Is there a setting to alter this to some other icons?
 
Im using my phone and the forum is much clearer and faster loading, loving the images and layout.

Oh I was wondering what is the new native avatar resolution and image size (in KB)?

Ps. oh I remembered I did some Skink emoticons a while back are you interested in adding them to the site smiles ?

oh for people I made avatars for, most of you can co back an re-upload the larger version of the avatar,
(should be less pixelated) and I think the site automatically rescales it for you.

Red Devil did the lion's share of the work. Good job. Not only did the transfer work without a hitch, but it was finished pretty quickly. Far less than 24 hours.
