8th Ed. First Tournament Coming Up! Help?

[MHK Pathfinder]

Hello Fellow Lizzies,

I'm entering my first tournament in about a month, and I'd like some advice. It's a 20-person, 5 round, 800 point tourney the first week of October, and I have a few lists I've been chewing one. I'll post them here, and whether they need to be tweaked or completely reworked, I'd love some feedback!

a unit of saurus warriors, a unit of skinks, 4 ripper dactyls, 2 salamanders?

You can only field a unit of kroxigors (at special) if they are atleast three models. So you can't take a unit of one or a unit of two.

What about as an attachment to a core unit? It says 8 units per Krox model, but could you run a unit of 16 with 2 Krox, or is the minimum still 3?

Yeah, the problem is that I don't have any terradons/rippers or sallies yet, and I can't really afford any new models at the moment. I like the build you're suggesting, just not sure I can pull it together between now and then.

Not sure what you mean with attachment but yes you can for example have 1 kroxigor in a unit of 10 skink cohorts, or 2 kroxigor in a unit of atleast 16 skink cohorts, and then you will have to place the kroxigor in the second rank of cohorts (p.40). These will count for core points.
But if you want a unit of kroxigors only they have to be atleast 3 models (unit size 3+) and will count for special points.

I think this would be a fun list:

Vanguard and Harmonic Convergence the Razordons into his face and melt something, then force him to charge you and re-apply the melt. Use the Skirmishers to take out any monsters and herd his big units so they expose their flanks and then Ripperdactyl them to death.

All the while annihilating stuff with Comets of Casandora and lightning bolts!
