AoS First game ever on AoS. Looking for help fory 1500 list.

Hello there. After 1 year looking to get into the hobbie again, I've finally managed to get my first game since 7th Ed with my friends back then. We're going to have this match on Saturday, so I'll keep you informed.

I was thinking in a Slann + Sallys core for LoSaT, so there's my first attempt:

To be honest, I don't really see this army since I don't have any behemoth, but I have a battalion, magic, shoot and C&C. Any idea to improve it?

The skink starpriest is one of best heroes in seraphon. Has access to some pretty good spells and can give a really good buff for free each turn as well. If possible try and shuffle the list to include it

What about this one? I quit the Sarus Guard and the Slann for Kroaq and praying for those sweet 4+ when he is wounded. Since Kroaq can't have an Artifact, I gave the Godbeast Pendant to the Starpriest because he's fragil as hell.

If you have one, a scar vet on cold one will serve you better than the oldblood on foot. The command ability is different but they math out at being exactly the same but the scar vet can cause the buff to spike higher.
Otherwise its a decent starting saurus block

I'll swap for the Scar-vet for better mobility etc but the battalion requires an Oldblood.
