AoS First 1k List

Anyone have an opinion on this list? I'm going to be learning the game using this list and mostly playing friendly matches. I'm going to proxy in my Warriors for Guard until I buy proper Guard and kitbash my own Astrolith Bearer. I have a metal Oldblood (going to proxy him for my Eternity Warden until the proper one arrives), 6 Saurus Knights, 20 Saurus Warriors, and a Skink Priest in addition to everything below.

I think that's a solid list for a friendly game. You have a huge monster and the Guard can take some punishment. Probably not the highest damage output but that's ok. You are learning the game so it is cool to see some different units and learn how to play them.
You have no shooting though. So if you play, don't forget there is a shooting phase as well.

Basilidon with solar engine, Stegadon with bow

Basilidon would be my first choice

Mine too. But if you don't have a lot of points to spend Razordons are a good choice as well.

So I came up with these two lists. Decided to drop the Battalion because it felt sort of taxing at 1000 points. I've dubbed as a Defensive and the other as Combined Arms.
