Hello everyone!

A few months ago my boyfriend got me to paint his Lord of Change and saw me having a lot of fun with it. He got me the skinks starter set and I fell in love with these guys to the point I even made some scenery pieces to go with them.

The bridge had its own thread here a few weeks ago and is sadly in a slight tilt I'm trying to fix before I work on making it look older but I've taken shots with it anyway since it's still a cool piece to look at :D

Let me know what you guys think of my lily pad skinks and pink lotus bastiladon!

Awesome work on that Start Collecting set. Nice little army!

Your colors are nice and vibrant.
I love that Bastiladon, both the color and the composition: the extra skinks on the base and the fact that she (I guess) is angled on het base, much more dynamic.

I also love those object markers. Where did you get that skull from?

The terrain suits them very well.

Keep up the good work.

Grrr, Imrahil

Nice work!
How did you do the smooth white/pink transition on the Bastiladon? Wet blending?
I used Vallejo glaze medium to make the paint more transparent then applied it in layers with smaller and smaller area of coverage to build up the transition! It was my first time using this method and I'm really happy how it turned out!

It was an extra bit from my boyfriend's Tzeench Lord of Change, seemed an appropriate piece to have a spear through it :D

Thank you everyone for your replies and support!

Ooh, nice. I suck at that technique. :D

Great work! Particularly love the Basti!

That is a great collection, and it makes me happy to know that not only did you paint everything in your start collecting box but also made a starter-collection of terrain to go with it!

Keep building more terrain, its one of the most fun things I have discovered in this hobby!

Very cool stuff! Always great to finish a Start Collecting Box and have everything painted!
