Blog Explodingzeb's Painting and other stuff blog.

Not much painting has been done recently. I built and magnetised another stegadon and have got some base coats down on it. Most of my time has been spent playing Tears of the Kindgom though lol.

I did find time to paint up this little Night Goblin which is from an old White Dwarf issue promoting the WHFB 7th Edition starter set, Battle for Skull Pass. I tried to pay homage to the 7th edition vibes with the basing scheme and colour choices, which some more modern techniques like the rust etc. This guy will end up being gifted to a friend who has an Orcs & Goblins army.

Here's my 2nd Stegadon. Magnetised to swap between a regular or ancient Stegadon with the different weapon options, as well as being able to add a Skink Chief.

This is SO good. Like like the tan & green. I can't remember, did you show previously how you magnetized the Stegadon?

Thank you! It looks slightly more saturated and orange in colour IRL.
I've not shown the magnetisation off no. I'll try and get some pics of the magnetised areas this weekend :)

Ah. It looks a little more ochre in the photos to me. Regardless, I think it's great.

I would like to see or read a bit of how you magnetized. I've seen a video, but it's always good to see what modelers do with it.
