Your Lizardmen Mordheim warband is epic! I know it sounds like I'm gushing, but you have some great talent and skill.

Thank you so much, that's very kind of you to say :)

Amazing Warband!! Very clean painting, I love the colorscheme and the 'rust' effect on the copper parts.

Great job!!

Grrr, !mrahil

Thank you friend, I'm really happy with the colour scheme :)
It was fun to paint something much different to my usual Lizardmen scheme.

Indeed. Classic models painted with dignity and respect. A worthy paintjob for the Children of the Gods.

Said it before, wish this was the look that they'd stuck with for the lizards: Actual izards rather than dinosaurs being called lizards. :-D

Those are absolutely Feathered Serpent material! Amazing job.

Absolutely fantastic seeing the old lizards done up so well!

Thank you all for the kind words :)

While these have their charm, I still prefer the later models, especially the saurus introduced in the early 2000s. They could have had more detail but they had a great lizardy vibe. New ones are certainly leaning more into dinosaurs, especially with the loss of the forked tongue. Also it might be the furry in me but I prefer the digitigrade legs too :P

Can't argue there, I too prefer them digitigrate. But, interesting detail... lizards in the real world? They're plantigrade. I've observed my bosc often enough that I can't delude myself on that front. :p

I'm currently working on building and converting another Mordheim warband. This time Bretonnians, although I'll be proxying them as Reiklander Mercenaries since the Bretonnian rules for Mordheim are bad.

There are also 5 bowmen and I'm trying to fit a Damsel (counting as a hired sword Warlock) into the list but haven't decided on a model yet.

Awesome man, I love to see how you will paint these! Also what a load of bits, amazing stuff!

Is that a glove on the back of the duellist or is it something else?

Grrr, !mrahil

Thank you! I've got so many extra bits from various Bretonnian kits. It's been fun to try and put them to use on these guys. It is a glove on the Duellist yes.

Well how else is he supposed to slap those he is challenging to a duel if not with a glove? :p

Absolutey correct, that was my thinking :D

That was my thought as well and it is a genius touch of detail

I figured I should take some pictures of the bowmen that I've built for the warband.
I've also finished building all the bases for the warband too. I'm currently waiting on a couple of 3D printed models to decide which model to use as my Damsel (counts as a Warlock or Witch).

Here are the bowmen, 5 in the starting warband and 2 more to recruit later.
