Thank you!
He might be my entry. It depends whether I can get my Oldblood on Carnosaur finished in time.

Better than this one?!? :p

This one is already absolutely stunning. If the Oldblood on Carnosaur is somehow even better, then this competition might very well be over before it even starts!

Awesome work on the Terradon Skink Chief!!

He looks amazing!
Great detail and love the colors.

Grrr, !mrahil

I'm still working on painting up an Oldblood on Carnosaur but it's going slowly and I lost some motivation on it.

I decided to build another 20 skinks that I'll need for TOW in the meantime, as well as a Scar-Vet BSB using the new Astrolith Bearer model. I also kitbashed a Skink Chief BSB who is magnetised to go on foot or on the back of my Stegadon:

that looks so good! wheres the banner from? and how well do the magnets hold the model in place? i tried magnetizing a mounted character to a regular base but the magnets are so weak it falls at the smallest movement

The banner is from Last Sword Miniatures model, called the Skink Storyteller I believe. I have a few models from them and somehow ended up with a duplicate of that particular model, so I didn't mind chopping the banner off of one.

In this photo, only one foot is magnetised, and that turned out not to be enough. I have since magnetised the other foot too for more stability. He holds pretty well now. I used 3mmx0.5mm magnets on his feet, and 3mmx2mm magnets in the base.

Still no painting getting done but I have been busy building and converting.
I have built a host of flying characters for my Bretonnians.

Including this Prophetess on Royal Pegasus, using a 5th Edition Damsel and a 3D printed pegasus.

I also converted a Duke on Hippogryph. I made this using a High Elf Griffon and parts from Bretonnian Lord on Pegasus. I swapped the lions paws and tail for hooves and a horse tail. I also sculpted some cloth for the lower body of the Duke, and a caparison for the back of the mount to tie it in with the rest of the army.
