AoS ew AoS player trying go build a list

Hey so as im sure you can tell by the title i recently started collecting AoS and Seraphon miniatures. I currently have the start collecting Seraphon with a Troglodon and Saurus Oldblood on foot aswell as a Slann. And i was wondering how i should expand my army to get a viable if small Army. I was given the advice of buying another Start Collecting and going for a Firelance Starhost. Is this a good idea and what should i get after that if i want to keep growing my army?

EEEWWWW look at the AOS player lol

a second start collecting is not a bad idea, however if you are new, my advice would be to get a start collecting skinks box, this will give you a better array of different models, without investing to heavily in one direction before you know what direction you want to take this army, or even if this will be your forever army. many players dip there toes into multiple armies prior to finding one that "fits".
