Wait, wait, wait, wait! I don't have my Nagash book handy, but wasn't Mazadmundi the one who declared the Great Plan of the Old Ones null? If I remember correctly and that last sentance is correct, then how can he be upset with Teclis and Malekith for working contrary to the Plan? Sense not making this rumor is.

I don't think he declared it null instead he concluded that the plans of the old ones where still in phase one wipe out all enemies thus without their enemies wiped out it would be impossible to further take plan is him great plan.


Now I can't wait to see the new Masdamundi model.

The Stegadon looks really cool but I would hope for a more dynamic looking Mazdamundi :(.

I dont thibk this is the official GW model, it just looks like a conversion using the regular slann and tiktakto a nice conversion, but not the real thing! I hope we get the same quality as the nagash ang glodkin models got
 
aaa, ty :D ye the Slann is still the same model and the skink is from the troglodon set (looks like).
 
Looks like a conversion to me,
slan and panaquin look the same,
liiks like a skink from one of the new teradons,
and a vinal toy tricerotops. :rolleyes:

Please let this not be the real model :depressed:
 
The model is a fake and rumours from that particular site should be avoided.

Nobody else have mentioned anything of the like, hell we hardly even know about the second book and you're telling me some anonymouse source is telling us that?

Nah man, not that I don't think Mazdamundi will not get some sort of love, but tbh I'll hold my hope for now. IF it would've been Arthurius11 who had said that I would've believe it, but not from those guys.

Ok, I have my book in front of me and Mazdamundi states, "The Great Plans has failed, the Exodus must begin." My previous assertion stands.
 
The picture is clearly a conversion because you can easily tell where the components came from (feel stupid for not spotting that immediately). I am curious as to why someone would go through that much trouble manufacturing a fake Mazdamundi End Times box...I figured fakers usually have something to gain but this is just silly.
 
Goons will be goons, no matter the medium. That being said, if everything was on hand to make the model and take the picture, it wouldn't be too hard to photoshop it all together using the existing Nagash box pics. I don't have the skills, but I bet my wife could whip something like that up with just the pictures in no time.
 
Lets just hope the model doesn't have an absurdly large hat like Nagash.

I also believe that is fake.
 
I remember seeing that model ousted as fake/conversion on Warseer, including links to the original blog.

Doesn't the Nagash book suggest that Teclis worked with Arkhan the Black in resurrecting Nagash, even providing him with Aliathra, daughter of Everqueen, to bring back a figure powerful enough to contend with the Chaos threat? At some point in his big plan, I'm pretty sure his dodgy dealings suggests a destablisation of the Vortex for some reason (an idea insinuated to possibly also be aided by Malekith) - surely that's against the Lizardmen ideology considering the contribution they made to its creation, and that it'd help bring about another deamon incursion?

Thus Elves vs. Lizardmen! I'm expecting big, big magical fireworks.
 


I believe this is the Fake Mazdamundi model (aka someone's conversion) that hit the web a few months back. Just confirming what has already been said.

The finished product looks pretty good in that magazine picture. Going from this to the final product obviously took some work!


I hope the Mazdamundi model for the 3rd End Times book is real. Maybe he has upgraded from Zlaaq (Stegadon) to a great Arcanodon, that'd be cool!
 
Take with all the salt in the world but this weekend I heard that lizards are going be teaming up with skaven .

As long as it's not done in a hamfisted manner, I really like stories about unlikely allies. As an added twist, instead of the Skaven backstabbing their scaly "allies" it'd be interested if the Skinks beat them to it.
