Cheers man, I have an idea for a sculpt that will probably become my avatar when it's done, but as I won't even be able to start it for 4/5 months this is perfect. I am fully in awe of your speed photoshop skills

Here's a good general overview of the new book:

Conveniently, all the costs are listed in terms of Skaven Slaves.

This is the new most popular Slann build:

Lore of High Magic, Focus of Mystery (Lore Mastery of High Magic), Soul of Stone (does not negate miscasts but lets you slide up or down the chart by one), Harmonic Convergence and Channeling Staff (three channels per round at 5+). Compared to the old book Slann builds, the broken combos are gone but Slann 2.0 is better at playing defense than Slann Classic. Slann Classic had mountains of bonus power dice and no bonus dispels. Slann 2.0 has modest amounts of bonus power dice AND dispels. You are also likely to see more varied. In the old days, all Slann disciplines costed the same whether they were weak or overpowered. Now the stronger disciplines cost more than the weaker ones, a revolutionary concept :unsure:.

High Magic spells are versatile and they get eight with Lore Mastery. They can also swap out spells for BRB lores DURRING play. In practice it's not as scary as it sounds. I believe this incentivizes LM players to cast subpar spells so they can swap them getting distracted with creating a "perfect spell list" as opposed to trying to "win the game."

No one mentioned that Salamanders got gently nerfed, they can't march and fire anymore. Razordons are better (expanded range, cheaper) so they are a threat to chaff.

The Bastiladon laser is very potent but I don't know if it's as serious threat to Skaven since you guys have so many bodies to absorb hit.

With Skink Chiefs becoming cheaper, watch out for solitary Skink Chiefs on flyers. A lot of them are carrying an item called the Egg of Quango. It basically makes them a hand grenade if they charge you.

Since you seem rather keen I do believe in my drunken state that I've concuctted? a true challenge for you.
While I'm sure we all love and have come to know the slann at the top of our page well,
Since you are the arbiter of most of our avatars(thanx man love my stargate skink) , I challenge thÿ to reinvent that which all lustrians see at the top of our page. Or more importantly stated the image that all lustrians new and old would associate with our home(ala forum).
Just a passing thought in my happy imbibed state if you wish to challenge your creativity to a level that would make the old ones cry or weep, be that with pleasure or joy. Or of course have a good laugh at the drunken krox and remember this rant next time you crack a stubbie.
