Exactly! Plus, I only have about 300 points actually painted, and if I want to crush my friend in most stylish way possible I should do it with both the new dice AND a fully painted army.

That would be something that makes people very jealous.

Just an update for everyone, we are very close to having all the payments in. Only a few more people to come through and we are good to go. Looks like a few people haven't checked their inboxes for awhile, so I'll be sending follow-up PMs to those who need it.

Sorry I was one of the slow ones, moved house this week, so sort of hectic. I've sent now though, looking forward to my lizard tail growth enhancments!

Ok guys, got a little bit of a dilemma I'm facing.

There are only a handful of people who haven't paid yet, BUT there are enough people who have paid to cover the cost of production for the dice. We've been waiting for a long time and I'm pretty eager to pull the trigger on this.

I am thinking I am going to submit the payment so Chessex can get started on the order. I've been told it will take 6-weeks for them to produce all our dice in the various colors we've asked for.

I'm hoping the 6-week production time would be enough time for the remainder of our fellow lizards to come through with their payments.And yes, I know a couple of you have warned me against doing this. But I'd like to be fair to the rest of those who have been waiting patiently.

Does anyone have an issue with this? I've at least gotten responses from all of our members that are ordering, so I know they at least have the intent to pay.

What's the cash value of outstanding orders, and what ordered dice have not been paid for yet?
If it's not a ton of cash, I'd say put the order in.

Worst case, we can offer up additional dice from the orders that flaked.

I agree with Lizardmatt, it can't be that hard to offload any extra LM dice. Someone will want them.

I'll have to look again, but if I recall correctly it's around $200 leftover. And yah I agree, I am sure someone will want them if the last few people don't come through.

People will definitely pick up the extra ones if those folks don't pay up. Just this week we've had a few new people join who seem like they'll be active members.

I'm not volunteering myself but there is probably enough traffic on our site to warrant a dice drive every year.

I wouldn't be interested in the whole tab, but I would probably be interested in part of it, if it comes to that. After all, six weeks from now is a new month with a new budget and allowance for my addicti... er, hobby. :)

Money's a bit tight for me at the moment (hence didn't put in a pledge) but with Christmas coming up and with the fact Im already wanting to get some new dice sometime soonish, I may be in a position to purchase some of the unclaimed dice should the need arise. When/if it comes to the crunch let me know whats available and I'll see how much the Mrs will let me "advance" on my Christmas budget. ;)
