Craziness? What craziness?

The D3s are meant to double as scatter dice. Each image has really only one possible logical facing. The 2 "Hit" sides are denoted by the square around the "3"s

The other good news is that if everyone and everyone's friends buy the Spawning of Bob story, the price of each individual letter should come down. And Bob will be on the New York Times best seller list.

Yeah I guess I could see that but it may be a bit difficult to read the "facing" of the "arrow" in this way.

15 lizard glyph - Gemini green gold
15 death mask - lustrous green white
2 artillery pips - scarab jade
1 d3 - Gemini blue green

Theres the 5 wound counters to get over the threshold :)

One less arty dice and one less d3, also changed color on the d3

Also along the lines of delaying the due date we could put the due date when we pass the money saving red lines.

i don't like the idea of delaying until a threshold is met. most people that wanted dice have ordered and it may be a LONG time before thresholds are met. i am fine paying the extra cash to get them now. compared to the prices of GW models these dice are a bargain. :)

I'm going to let this run throughout the rest of today, maybe tomorrow if we're really close. I'm having a bit of computer trouble today so I can't quite get the order form updated just yet. I'll keep everyone updated though!

As for the Scatter die, I'd rather not add one at this point. It would easily delay everything, including messing up the payments. We can add those in the next order.

Lets finish this one off before adding scatter. While I love the idea, who's going to buy more than one lizard themed scatter die? You only need it for a handful of spells, it serves no other purpose.

Have you got a few crab pots out at Donnybrook?

You might remember Spawning of Bob running LM in the Never Ended Goodies vs Baddies campaign at QNK in late 2011.

If you were around then, What army were you playing?

Dice pledges seem to be running still. Be nice to see some more of these bad boys tumbling around the greater Brisvegas area.

I thought this whole spawning of bob seemed familiar. I just don't know if we met. I was, well going through the old forum thread I seemed to have been playing tomb kings. I barely remember making most of the posts in that campaign thread. Mate I must be getting old. Just going through it now to find out what happened to that intro campaign into 8th edition.

1 Art pips Gemini blue green

Be looking for PMs from me later today or tomorrow. I need a bit of time to sort everything by color for the submittal to Chessex and figure out pricing for everyone.

I may be asking a few of you to add one die to your order to help us pop over some of the price intervals. I'll only ask if it will be relatively insignificant to your total cost. (in some cases it may make your order cheaper)

Payment will be through Paypal. If you don't have an account, you should look into setting one up in the near future.


That's it! Not sure we need to lock the thread, but no more pledges after this. Perhaps we can un-global it?

So... we went over 1,000 dice for the Death Mask design... I'm hesitant to collect payments until I get a new quote from Chessex since 1k is one of the thresholds.

Apologies about that, but I think we should all wait until Monday when I hear back from Chessex before any of you send me payments. I'd rather not have to give out refunds.

That said, I will be PMing everyone shortly to confirm their orders. Keep your eyes peeled!
