Heya.
my friend has just started to collect vampire counts. And has bought blood knights.... i witnessed him destroy my other friends whole wood elves army with them :jawdrop: .
I would like some help with tactics on how to combat this evil.
thank you.

Hasn't playd VC. If they are anything like Chaos knights: go high with a slann, pick Lore of metal and Take them down with spirit of the forge...

:D just read the "sprit of the forge" rule..... thats brillant! they will die like a sack of.. well u know :) thanks for the help!

No problemo ;) I suggest you draw out some dispel dices first. From wht I've heard, VC has some pretty heavy magic.
Good luck :)

yeah stupid vampire heros and lords. Rest of 'em are squishy enought for sauras :smug:

hmm they are tough, but expensive. one unit of them will easily be 1/8 of the whole army.
so iif you can get them you are able to winn quite easily.

they got frenzy right? use some skinks/terradons for bait and flank them with kroxies or something.
it should be not hard to kill the 1 ( or 2) knights on the flank of the unit so they won't be able to attack back.

and as a wood elve player i can ind say that wood elves have a problem with blood knights, even with e treeman at their side.

a smart thing to do as wood elve player is take a eagle and toy the knights around... heavinly amusing :D

Almost time for the new sallies, -3 to their armor save really hurts heavy calv.

use the jungle swarms. place so the blood knight charge than flank with a satti. if need than flank again with Kigros.

i think swamrs are bit expensive and not really going to withstand a fulll charge of 5 blood knights including a wraith ( normally they have one) or you need like 8 swarms....and thats way to much.
skinks en terradons i'd say ;) with kroxies or steggie as flanker.
