So I'm currently stuck inside due to a typhoon and decided to do some sketching, let me know what you think

Coatl head (let me know what you think, if it's positive I will do a full body)

Terradon on cliff - the idea is that he's peering over the edge looking for lunch, if I made this I'd have his rider gathering rocks beside him

Let me know what you think and I'll post more as boredom/inspiration strikes

I would like to have terradon and ripperdactil minis stading on the ground like that one you draw. Flying miniatures are just to fragile to move from the display.

I would like to have them floating as high as possible, due to LoS rules O.o

hence the 'top of cliff' concept, maybe a couple in tree branches, lets me get a style I like while maintaining/improving LOS

nice ^^

I'd probably refrain from making them taller than GW's models since that (in my mind anyways) would be crossing the border of goodness. HOWEVER i think the idea is awesome ^^ also with the model on the ground IMHO, it's just having 1 tall model pays off

Good point, prepare for some sketches of terradons jumping into the air. I also have an idea for one flying low over water snapping up a fish or an unwary skink, but I might save that for a ripper

I had an idea for a model but I'd like to run it past the lustria online fluff brain before I sit down to start sketching/building/sculpting

The basic concept is "Lore of Death Slann" - mainly because I like painting black, and I think a black/dark red frog would look pretty cool
The palaquin would be scratch built, made up so the rib cage of a stegadon gives the back and sides with the skull at the top overhanging the mage priest.
I am unsure what I would do the tail/legs of my skeletal steg, would appreciate ideas
The skink handler would become a miniature death figure ala Terry pratchetts grim squeaker (death of rats) with black/purple cloak and miniature scythe.
There would also be a lot of funky sand timers partially as detailing and partially filling in gaps in the steg palaquin
I don't know if I want to make it floating, or include 'death guard' bearers sort of like the old slann, again not sure how I do these and whether they would be skeletal or not, are slann allowed to do an eensie bit of necromancy?
