I know what your all thinking. Maxed out heroes, lots of magic items, oh-no! Well, I'm low on cash and I'm trying to make do with buying as little as I have to. This would only use a Battalion, Scar-Veteran, Skink Priest, and my Saurus Unit that I already own. Beside those obvious problems, any feedback?

I think the stegadon helm is skink only right?

Other than that, I would take out the saurus champs and braves to put better items on the saurus hero. Enchanted shield is a must, plus you could get a snazzy weapon for the points you save. Perhaps you could even put him on a cold one and stick him with your cold one cav? That unit would hit HARD with your hero in it if he's got the burning blade of chotec or sword of might.

Yep, your right. The stegadon helm is only for skink chiefs. (Doesn't make much sense though with the size of a stegadon ) Ok, I took out the helm and replaced it with a Cold One, Enchanted Shield, and the Burning Blade. I didn't even have to take out any champions to do that. Like you I don't see much use in them, but I don't have any models to add anything in place of them. If I took one out I guess I could give the Veteran a talisman of defence, but I'm not sure whether a 6+ armor save or a Challenge soaked up is better. So here it is now. Not to much different exept the hero.
