8th Ed. Completely original idea for Dinosaurs with lasers!

Draxack said:
Oh how nostalgic

Oh and the concept behind primeval:
Tears in space-time are letting prehistoric creatures wander into our time
and there is a group that studies on these rips in reality who also act as
a kind of first line of defence, problem is that the rips can show up anywhere
and connect to any time period (and yes they have had creatures from a possible
future come in)

Might have to start watching that now, keep seeing the previews on doctor who dvds!

This is actually sort of the basis for my class task: design either a mod for an existing race, or design a whole new race for 40K. A pair of classmates came up with a pretty brilliant mod of Lizardmen in 40K, with some major "upgrades". Some of it is cribbed from shows like these, others are just "what-ifs" from the Fantasy --> 40K transition.

There's a slightly larger discussion going on over here

I still sing the "Denver the Last Dinosaur" theme song...just to annoy my wife.
Land of the Lost was awesome. Saturday mornings used to be so full of good shows, I don't think kids have that now.

We are all in denial ;(. I feel you bro.

I loved Dinosaurs, the sitcom...@Didymus did you say they all die?!

Did anyone else have the word-less comic books? I'm struggling to remember what they were called. Long, epic stories with dinosaur characters, but no words, because they were actual dinosaurs. They were the only comic books I read as a kid. Age of Reptiles, maybe.

EDIT: Yes! Here it is https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Age_of_Reptiles_(comics)

Hahaha I so remember those! And +1 on Jurassic Park series as well.

Has anyone here read Raptor Red? I loved that book, great read.
