AoS Completely new player. Wondering what's the best book for our current rules.

Hey everyone.
Please go easy on me, I'm completely new to AoS and have chosen Seraphon to be my army. Will be getting the SC box in a couple of weeks.

I've been told not to get the Seraphon Battletome because there will probably be a new one released in the near future. So, what book should I get for all our points and rules, etc?

Generals Handbook 2019 and the Battlescribe and Warhammer AoS apps.
Those will be what you use the most anyway

the reason not to get the battle tome (unless you really love the lore) is that all the required to play information is not in that book and the app is free. well except the battalions, you will need the book physically or to buy it digitally and link it to the app for those. the warscrolls are updated on the ap. the faction abilities and relics and traits are in the ghb19. the points are in the tiny points annex thing they made this time around for some reason.

get the GHB and just print the various warscrolls from the site if you don't want the app and you've got 99% covered. It's still cheaper than buying the actual book.

Agree, the GHB should suffice.
