Interesting. I just finished (a couple of hours ago) my K'daai Destroyer. Couple of quick questions for @Karak Norn Clansman :
  • I'm assuming that since the subject matter is listed as open theme and described as: "enter with anything involving painted miniatures and Chaos Dwarfs, Hobgoblins and all their misbegotten ilk and slaves", my K'daai Destroyer would count as a legal entry?
  • Does the entry have to have been started specifically for the contest? I started this model a long time ago (I'm a super slow and distracted painter!) but just finished it now.
  • If I enter it into the contest, must I refrain from posting pictures of it in my Lustria Online painting blog until the completion of the contest?
  • Can new Chaos Dwarfs Online members enter? As I would be creating a new account.
 
@Lizards of Renown : Note that we have no less than three random draw prizes, reserved for those not in top 3 (and no one will win more than 1 random draw prize). Chances to carry home a prize is record good this round.

@NIGHTBRINGER : Enter all you like! K'daai Destroyers are Chaos Dwarf slaves. Definite entry. :D

It does not have to be painted for the contest as such. Many members will often be working on something, and maybe show unpainted WIP pictures of conversions, when contests are announced. Then they go silent on progress, and the painted result is revealed with the voting thread. It has also happened that some big conversion project will be finished by some member, only to have a contest on just that theme get launched a few days later.

Yes, it can only be entered if you haven't posted pictures of it publicly online. Wait until winners are revealed, then post pictures in your painting blog. Standard procedure. :)

Of course! Just register and fire away. There is no quirky rules about old members or members with some random post count only can enter. Anyone can enter who has signed up.

This reply to you is belated. January has been mostly small sickness and exhaustion for me. Catching up on things at last.

Sorry to hear that you haven't been feeling well. Hope things are turning around.
 
Wait what? I changed that to 2022, and the date to 3rd of April. Didn't it get saved? Or perhaps I accidentally wrote it in a browser tab on the forum, and then continued writing in a Wordpad document after checking something?

Alright, got an entry in, I think I am done editing, but who knows. Either way, I have time to continue adding, and if I don't, then I have an entry anyway.
