hey guys i'm new but i've been running an old blood on a cold one with Blade of Revered Tzunki The Maiming Shield and Light Armour. i'm tossing up the idea of a carnosaur's or freeing up points for kroq-gar. my army is heavy skink with an engine and another priest. just wondering what everyone's thoughts on carnos are

Im a slaan general, but to me, the carnosaur is the coolest mount we have! (and the most amazing!)

Well, if you are running a skink heavy list with a fair bit of magic already then a Slann would seem to suit you more. You can even drop the second priest to free up points since a Slann and an engine is fairly powerful.

The carnosaur is indeed a great mount though, and if you choose it you will give some very heavy combat power. I wouldn't bother with kroq-gar though, special characters are almost always unbalanced.

In my years of running Lizardmen I've used a Slann but once, it's just not my play style.
If you're like me you'll be in your own natural bliss when fielding the Carnosaur. Like strewart said, don't bother with kroq-gar though, special characters are almost always unbalanced. In my list I only run one skink on a EOTG w/ a scroll & diadem, many for magical defence and to cast a spell a turn (trust me it's enough defence). Running one skink also saves me points for other no wizard characters.

Good luck with the "Ultimate Predator."
