What a beastly match-up. Battle of the monsters.
I will watch this soon-ish
Grrr, Imrahil
Got in a 5 game GT with Stegageddon! It was a TON of fun. Not the most competitive list, but def the most fun!
@chefofwar yeah, the Realmshaper has placement rules that are pretty wonky for us. Most events I know of don't require faction terrain to be brought, as ita part of the list building process. Though I so not know if they require it to be placed if it's in your list.
It has uses, like what Caleb did, but it can be used against you as a bunker if your not careful.
For the ones I've been to, yes, though sometimes they also say you can move terrain already in place to allow it to fit where you may want it.how do events do the "placed before terrain" clause, just placed before rolling for sides?
Yep, this GT allowed you to place the Realmshaper (or the OBR terrain) wherever you want. BUT if that required the table's pre-set terrain to be shifted, your opponent would reposition the table terrain as needed. Sort of a give and take. For the ones I've been to, yes, though sometimes they also say you can move terrain already in place to allow it to fit where you may want it.
Here is a quick video on the LEDs in the Bastiladon:@Caleb ex nihilo Man, your conversions are great. Do you have some close-ups somewhere of the LED Bastiladon and the EotG?

I'd say that... ON AVERAGE... Kroak is harder to kill. BUT with an unlucky dice roll he can be easily slain. So I would say that he is "less competitive" since you don't want a random dice roll to determine the fate of your centerpiece hero.Very interesting battle report. So would you say that Kroak is better or worse with the new rules? Personally, I don't think he's really gotten nerfed that much, just changed up. But I've heard a lot of people saying he's now unplayable due to the wounds rule. But I also think that may be because people think that he can rush into combat now...
