AoS Bloodclaw 2k

Hey all,

I’m trying to play more games instead of just posting painting pics all the time, want to run a 2k Blood claw list.

General
- old blood on carnosaur 280 pts
Heros
- slann 260 pts
- sunblood 120 pts
- astrolith bearer 160 pts
- warden 140 pts
Battle line
- warriors x40 360 pts
- guard x10 200 pts
- guard x5 100 pts
-skinks x10 pts
Other
- razor 40 pts
-Salamander 40 pts
- handlers 40 pts
Battalion 200 pts

Any comments or changes are greatly appreciated still new to making lists. Can substitute pretty much anything.

The only thing that immediately comes to mind is that you are probably not using the - very expensive - Bloodclaw bataillon to its full potential.

Neither the Astrolith Bearer nor the Eternity Warden has a command ability.

An Oldblood on foot, a Scar-Veteran on Carnosaur, or a Scar-Veteran on Cold One would be good choices as those can really buff up other Saurus.

I wonder: what is your desired play style?
Are you a more offensive or defensive player?

Why not the slann as general? U would be able to use oldblood and others command abilities anyway.

I would prefer scar veteran on carnosaur and pick the oldblood on foot as key unit. Command ability of scar veteran on the saurus is scary (lot of attacks and lot of chance to roll 6 (or 5 if you have +1) and make extra attacks.

Im still very noob but i think it would work fine

Ok so I will drop bearer, warden and a salamander which frees up 340 pts.

I will add scar vet on carno and scar vet on cold one for 340 pts. And make slann leader.

Seeing what you have/would like to play Ill say the following can work:

General:
Slann Starmaster (260)
Bloodclaw (200)
- Oldblood on foot (Key) (120)
- Scarvet on Carnosaur (240)
- Scar vet on coldone (100)
- Sunblood/Warden (120/140)

- Warriorsx40 (360)
- Guardsx10 (200)
- Guardsx5 (100)

Others:
Astrolith Bearer (Dont go out home without him) (160)
Razordon (40)
Salamader (40)
Handlers (40)

Total: (1980/2000)

I have sacrified skinks but keep Astrolith Bearer and you can choose between sunblood or warden. If you still want to put skinks for taking objetives or so, you can sacrifice Handlers. I would put another Razordon instead the salamander as well.

Yeah the Astrolith Bearer is almost too good to ever play without him...
