What is your best moment with the lizardmen?

I think a couple of mine are when my Slann took out a bone giant with a conflagration of doom, or when I decimated a unit of grail knights with some good rolling and spirit of the forge!

ah...gotta love that fat frog :P

So what's your best moment?
 
A JSoD Oldblood taking 4/5 Chosen Knights out on a flank charge. They were pinned in the front and he sliced through their side like a hot knife through chaos butter!!
 
Hmm... Has to be when my mates Oldblood on Carno charged my Scorp, fluffed everything, and the Scorp nailed the Oldblood :)

Skinks!
only word to describe it my unit of 10 skinks (with blowpipes) anihlated 2 giants yes 2 giants! in one turn o shooting. I love the little guys.
 
I once saw a Skink Chief pop up and kill a vampire lord using the dagger of sotek, it was on turn 1 or 2 as he was couting too. Man that was cool.
 
I once played against chaos. A unit of chosen knights rode past my skinks towards the slann unit. the opposing player said something like "i'll just ignore those little buggers"

in my turn the skinks shot at the chosen, and hit 8 times. he failed 6 1+ armour saves, so six knights died ^^
the look in his face was priceless.

another great moment:
my scouting skinks came out of the forest and shot at emporor karl franz and killed his griffin in the first round of the game. karl, now on foot, never made it into combat that game because of his lame 4" movement ^^
 
kill a wight king in turn 3 with a skink chief then poping his vampire lord in the next round of combat
i love the dagger of sotek :D
 
my best movement would be when i was playing chaos and
i flank charged his chaos warriors with my saurus
he then flanked my saurus with a large unit of marauders
i then flanked his mauruders with cold one cavalry wiping out
both his units and winning the game!!! :smug:
 
MIne was when i charged a unit of 5 flamers(daemons of chaos) with 15 of my skinks.I killed one of them and in the swing back they killed 1 of my skinks.I won combaet ress by i think by 3, the guy who i was against rolled a 12 in the Ld test and all the flamers POOFED in my first turn.
Oh and I realised that almost all the great and spetacular stuff are made by skinks.GOOOOO SKINKS!!!! :smug: :smug:
 
I have a few best moments:

1) First time I played with lizardmen I took out a charging giant with 10 skinks who passed thier LD 5, and killed him with stand and shoot.

2) Melting a whole brettonian knight army with one slann priest, also melting a damzel with the rule of burning iron LOL

3) One JSoD taking out 2 units of 20 beast men single handly, passing 3 rounds of combat res. He was equiped with light armor, shield, venom of the tree frog and blessing of Sotek/Quetzl, he had a gw but he was using sword shield option.
 
mine was when my block of saurus drove a bretonnian lance off the table... and the army general was in that unit :D
 
Faced the new demons. 2 bloodcrushers and a herald on a bloodcrusher charge a unit of skinks shielding some krox. The skink naturally flee and the bloodcrushers hit the krox (poor distance judgement on my part but anyway). The crushers role quite poorly and the krox hit back hard removing 1 crusher to win the combat. Demons take a would through instability. 2nd round and the remain crushers hammer the krox reducing the unit to one model with a wound. Krox hit back removing the last crusher, leaving the herald with one wound. Krox lose combat and are run down, herald runs off the board. The skinks move to intercept the herald as it returns to board. In his next turn the herald charges the skinks and kills four.

WITH two attacks the skinks hit once, wound on a six, he fails the 3+ armour, and.... FAILS his ward!!!!

A unit of ten skinks with javelins took down a khornate hearld on a juggernaught! Best ever!
 
I would have to say that the best moment I have had with Lizardmen comes down to two equally enjoyable events

(1) Due to some poor manuvering, my Salamander pack gets charged by a unit of a unit of high elf reavers. They were 6 (or 7?) wide so they were able to lay into my skink handlers, killing all but one. Amazingly, with the strikes back I was able to kill all 6 Reavers with my 6 salamnder's attacks :D . The following turn, I shot into a unit of 20 Swordmasters, and rolled 2 10s and 1 8 on the artillery dice. When I came up with exactly 20 4s to wound, my opponent threw his rulebook at me (it was one of the hardback ones unforunately)

(2) The greatest moment I have ever seen in warhammer wasnt exactly done by me, but I was playing in the game with my Lizardmen so it counts :) . During the storm of chaos campaign, my local store had a huge 10,000 pt per side team battle. I was teamed with an assortment of elf-ness (woodies, asur, and what someone tried to pass off as asur but were quite blatantly dark elves) against a team that combined 2 skaven teams with a massive store owned Archaon's Horde army. Now the store manager is a huge ___, and had been bragging about how his newly painted pair of Hellcannons were going to destroy our side (he was also trying to get everyone to buy one also at the time...go figure...). On the first turn of the game, we roll off and the chaos and skaven team wins the roll to go first. The first weapon fired is the skaven warp lightning cannon. This little 8 year old skaven player rolls the dice, and misfires.

It turns out to be a strength 10 (d6 wounds) shot, and when he rolls the scatter dice the cannon shoots a beam that goes right through both hellcannons (and 5 chosen chaos knights to boot). Naturally I'm telling this story because both Hellcannons were destroyed in that one shot :bored: . Following that the GW employee lost his temper and started yelling at the little kid. So good.....
 
my best moment with my lizardmen happened with my skink priest casting comet of casandora and killing a unit of knights of the realm (i think thats what bret knights are called) half of another unit and his general, the look on his face was priceless i wish i had a camera at the time :D
 
Only played 1 game so far, but in it my temple guard got double charged(thanks to two animosity rolls of 6s...) by a unit of night goblins and a unit of orcs. He killed 2 I killed 5, he flopped both his break tests and I rolled an 11 to persue. He rolled a 12 for each unit. Still, I was very happy because his general's unit was behind me and if I didn't break them I'd have got rear charged next turn.

I guess in hind sight my 400 point unit still out pointed them, 145 for the NGs and 240 for the orcs.
 
I was playingmy friends new dark elf listthat he had a dreadlord on a dragon flying around and making all of my skinks take terror test ( Which they naturally ran from), he made a mistake though an got under half range for my joke of a stegadon bolt thrower. I took one shot, hit, randomized it, hit the dreadlord, he failed all of his saves, and i rolled a 3 on m d3, making his general die from being harpooned in the chest 2nd turn
 
Mine was when my unit of 4 kroxes charged head-on 20 black orcs and wiped out the entire unit after 2 rounds of combat. :smug:

P.S.: I sufered not a single wound :D
 
A couple of moments come to mind:

1) 12 skinks w/javelins, shields rear a block of 10 black orcs win combat and then run them down with losing only 1-2 guys.

2) In a warbands game my 3 cav charge a river troll which they kill and over run into the enemy general who flees but not far enough and is taken out and they cav end up running into a lake. They are flanked by a block of orcs and hold for 3 turns before the the last model decides enough is enough and tries to run but gets caught.

3) A similar thing happened with a block of 19 saurus w/a BSB w/the Jag. banner. They charged a block of 15 orcs won combat and over ran it into a second block. During my opponents combat phase the saurus win combat again and chase this block down and into a third block which gets flanked by kroxigors. After all this glory the saurus block gets flanked by a unit of goblins and gets slaughtered! ;)
 
my best moment was one of my first games playing. Was losing a fight and had a Comet on the field. No one bothered to dispell it and I kept rolling bad racking up tokens. When I finally rolled to set it off, it killed everything on the board except for 2 of my units giving me the win.

Another moment was facing 2 units of at least 6 Bret knights with my 3 Kroxigors and their 10 skink skirmisher screen. The knights were positioned to charge my flanks so I charged one of the knight units with the kroxigors and moved my skinks towards the other. Let's say str 7 attacks and poison took care of both units making him curse skinks and poison to this day.
