7th Ed. Best moment with lizardmen

and if you overrun in a new unit, and that unit is is in combat to, that combat has to be done right away and only then is the overunning unit allowed to strike again in a single combat phase.

in other circumstances you have to wait till the next combat phase, whereby the opponent can countercharge you offcourse.

this is assuming that the combat hasn't taken place yet that turn
 
On topic people.
Anyway, one of my best moments was when I was challenging with a Scar-Veteran a Wood Elf lord-thing with great weapon when he charged me, he rolls 3 hits, needed 2+ to wound, and guess what? HE ROLLED 2 1s! Then the Lord was slaughtered by my Scar-Veteran. Bad thing that I still lost the battle. :depressed:
Another one was when my Skinks were charged by Giant and stand&shooted him to death.
Yet still another good one was when my Skinks were charged by Bloodthirster (or whatever it is called) and because they were too close to run away from table, I hold with them . Then he failed to kill even one Skink! I didn't wound him either, but the fun thing was that next turn he was charged by 2 units of Kroxigors to flank and rear. Eventually the Bloodthirster died.

Now for the bad moments even thought they weren't asked for. Number 1 must be when 8 CoR charge Dwarf Thunderers and got stand&shooted. He killed 2 of them, and then I roll for Panic. 3, 6 and 6... :rage: They ran away. It wasn't fun.
 
My faviorite so far must be when my skinks got charged by a chaos lord on juggernaut challenged my cheif in the unit[which had hornet blade and the dagger of sotek] my chief went first hit 3 times, once with the dagger of sotek and twice with the hornet blade and then killed him out right with the dagger :smug:

Wait, you had the Hornet Blade AND the Dagger of Sotek? Sorry pal, can't have two magical weapons or even double-wield when you have a magic weapon.
 
Dalkarius is right. Check out the rules for magic items in BRB. Otherwise, that would had been an awsome combo :)
 
new player but I already have a best moment :)

I was playing a 2 on 2 game, getting up to speed on how warhammer works when my scar vet with the sword of the hornet (ASF) was called out by the daemon character Skulltaker..

and with some good roles I actually struck first and killed him outright..

that was cool

i proceeded to get slaughtered, but I had a shining moment :)
 
I had a good moment the other night when my salamanders destroyed half a unit of white lions that contained his general. They failed there test and fled right behind his bolt thrower that was engaged with my terradons. The terradons overan through the white lions.
 
spanking out a wooping 22 hits with my slann and conflagration of doom XD

And a new one! Charging my lone 2th generation in a flank of 25 plague monks with frenzy and hatred, winning the combat by 1, and running them down :P

I don't usually have good luck with my Lizards, but one game I was getting destroyed by Tzeentch Chaos (new book).

By the end I had just my Skink Priest left, and the Chaos player was chasing him around with a block of Warriors, a Warshrine, and his Chariot. Due to the quick movement of the Skink I was able to get away from the warriors, but the Chariot (down to 1 wound due to the Slann shooting at it earlier) maneuvered to charge me next turn.

I figured "Why not?" and charged with the Skink Priest. I needed a 5+ to hit, then a 6+ to wound and then needed to get past his 3+ armour save.

:)

Didn't matter anyways but it was a great feeling to have one Skink Priest take out that lousy chariot.
 
Hey, everybody! I'm quite new to this forum but been playing with LM for a quite some time now.

A few of my good moments that i can recall, had tons of good matches -

- We were having an intense 1 day 1000point army championship tournanment (the price was booze ;), 6 players with: LM(me), skaven, HE,VC,WE,Dwarves - needless to say, i won all 5 games! 3 of them were massacres!

Everyone was having a hard time against the VC, the army was one of those spook armies, fearing the heck out of everything, well, put in a JSOD to take care of a Black Coach and outnumer the Graveguard+Vampire hero and game won.

Also, skinks work wonders on the Doom wheel!
