7th Ed. Banners

I probably got the new lizardmen book before you all (i live in New Zealand) and i've had a good read this week (on holiday)

And imo the banners are weak, especially for a BSB, any non slann BSB should almost never take a banner.
Apart from the fear and -1(2) to hit banners, the lizard banners are weak.

The frenzy banner would be great in a suarus spear unit, but a skink BSB with a banner would be very weak, with T3 and 4+ save(light armour and HW+shield

So what do you all think?

you had a good read you say?

you read that a skink chief may take a stgadon/ancient stegadon as mount, giving him either a 3+ or 2+ save and 4 skinks willing to die for him, AND an awesome dinosaur that has a devastating charge.

Yes a stgadon/ancient stegadon as mount would give him a good save, what banner would you give him?

Yeah I think they are pretty poor overall too. Haunchi's is ok, and of course the good old warbanner. Frenzy on a steg would be nice, but prob not worth it.
