It might be interesting that if while leaving orbit, the Slann discover an Old One craft still in orbit, containing the secret of the spawning pools (and other awesome stuff)

I have been saving this gif for this very moment.

Back on topic, I would actually welcome a Dragon isle's style re-invention of the lizardmen, it would be new and exciting (plus level 4 spell casters could easily come from the Coatls).

wauw how would I hate if our fluff became reduced to just
"...and saurus is the warrior caste"

what I love about lizard fluff, is its entirety.
I think the saurus fill a pretty blunt role, and as they are my favorite type of lizard
I would hate them to be reduced to even more "they can fight".

I'd much rather have them find themselves with new purposes and character.

When I heard about the rumour of a "magical coatl feathered saurus"
during our last book I was so thrilled I couldn't contain it.
"Here comes a Saurus lvl 3 caster"

Turned out to be the new priest sculpt...and saurus got more saurused into their saurus sauce...

A scar vet is a saurus who saurus a lot better than other saurus, cause he has saurused for a long time!

an OLDBLOOD is a saurus who saurus WAY better than other saurus cause he saurused LONG before other saurus
even BEGAN to saurus!

+1
I really enjoy lizardmen fluff. Take out the fat toads of unimaginable power... and we lose something. While it would be interesting to see what the other lizards do without the guidance of the slann... I feel like they would mostly dwindle away into barbaric tribes with little thought outside of holding their territory or fighting boarder disputes. I can't see them going on campaign.

And the saurus bit made me laugh. :D

Anyone else picture Spawning of Bob's Blue Saurus Warriors wearing smurf hats eating Saurus berries and fighting the Daemon Garga'mel

- Old Ones be praised the plan was right. :D

Or some sort of battle-temple city/ death star type temple city, so they could conduct an orbital bombardment of the planet, and that would bring the real end times: lizardmen bombardment tears apart the entire planet, resulting the floating bubbles... :D

In a sort of perspective, that would make sense :)

Lizardmen will show up to save the day but not the world :D

My prediction of the course of action (not really)

1.Slann grows a hissy fit,
2. calls "abandon" ship
3. all goes to some large object in the sky (the comets still there?) and then we have a "

moment.

4. Then this happens http://youtu.be/ddqXkHYxDY0?t=2m00s
5. and then GW will introduce some faaaaaaaaaabolous bridge from "planetary annihilation"
to this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KLNkN6O4ifY

if it is lizadrmen getting deleted but keeping the lord of the rings/hobbit game then GW are some idiotic idiots. I imagine there are 40k armies that do not sell well either

Sisters of Battle.

And they got an update, what, 6 months ago?

Besides, we have confirmed we are being bubbled, so if the rummour about bubblehammer is true, then we are definitely not getting axed.

We're pretty safe right now.

Yeah, that seems about right. I was also concerned about Bretts getting the axe, (As my other army) but with the Green Knight turning out to being the Funder of Brettonia, I figured they wouldn't pop such a character out only to have the army axed.
