Hey Lustria! Feels good to be painting and playing AoS again. I want to play with more Skinks. I'm a skink at heart.
Leaders:
Slann Starmaster
Engine of the Gods
Skink Starpriest
Units:
20x Skinks
10x Skinks
10x Skinks
6x Rippers
Behemoths:
Stegadon (thinking flamethrower)
Shadowstrike Starhost
This is a 1500 point skink army led by the Slann. I think this strikes a solid competitive balance that will let me fight most armies with success. You can teleport the engine and stegadon to do some cool turn 1 things alongside the Rippers. I am worried about the size of my Skinks, but at 1500 it's hard to fit everything in. Do you think it would be better to take the Rippers down to 3 and beef up the skinks? Also any advice on the new Artifacts would be great!! Is Incandescent Rectrices a requirement for the Slann? I'm imaging if you keep Curse of Fates up you can pretty easily bring him back and then try to teleport him the next turn.
