Agreed! Or; "Deals it's damage as Mortal Wounds instead."There is a line under Salamanders
Salamander Hunting Pack - It Burns!
If the unmodified hit roll for an attack made with a Stream of Fire or Burning Jaws is 6, that attack inflicts mortal wounds on the target unit and the attack sequence ends (do not make a wound or save roll).
It would be more clear if it stated "inflicts D3 mortal wounds" instead of just mortal wounds as read in the book.. we all know it's D3, but just to be helpful.
oof that would imply that those mortals have to go through the attack sequence to include saves...Agreed! Or; "Deals it's damage as Mortal Wounds instead."
MWs skip any attack sequence that remains and go straight to damage. That is what makes them mortal wounds. I will find the exact pg in the core rules for Mortal Wounds once I have my book handy.oof that would imply that those mortals have to go through the attack sequence to include saves...
I just meant the way you worded it. "this attack deals its damage in mortal wounds instead" implies that you went through the attack sequence to get to the determine damage step.MWs skip any attack sequence that remains and go straight to damage. I assume it would still have the "unmodified 6's to hit" clause. Which should make for clear language.I just meant the way you worded it. "this attack deals its damage in mortal wounds instead" implies that you went through the attack sequence to get to the determine damage step.
Just noticed that Comet's Call seems to be missing from the During Hero Phase section for the Skink Oracle on Troglodon. The spell shows up if I add Kroak or a Slann, but disappears again when I remove them.
Recently I have started to put my SCB armies into the Reminders format, for a better result when battling.
Since the rules, traits and abilities are al derived from the battletomes and other released books of GW I noticed that the Battalions that come with the Start Collecting Boxes are not included in the list to choose from.
Is this a part you are likely to add in over time? or did this not make the cut because it is not viable for official play?
Grrr, Imrahil
