I really do not have many desires to make an index, there are many files to detail.
I prefer that people look for what interests them into the thread, that is why each link is recommended to be accompanied by their respective image. This makes it easier to identify.

What do you guys use for saurus knights?

I found a good armored raptor but I'm worried that to fit it on the base of 60by35mm it'll be comically small vs my saurus. (Haven't had time to drop them into a program yet).

But have you tried climbing it? When I find a file that I like, normally I scale it to the size I need..

I think a Stygilomoloch mount would look great. Since with the mace head, you can break ranks in an onslaught.

Oooo those do look like they would be good! After some searching, I couldn't really fit any that fit the aesthetic, at least any I would bother sharing here (cg trader had one for like 60, was full animation and texture rig too).

I'll keep my eye open!

As for the scaling bits, here's what I was getting. My plan is to rig&pose the lizardmen to look more riding authentic, but for now, I was just looking for size. I forgot to show the bases but both creatures are scaled to the 60by35mm base (the dread saurians tail and part of the face overhang the base a bit).

Those are some great concept arts! Some great inspiration for the pose of the riders when I get there. Is there an easy place to find a whole bunch of it?

As for the other raptors I'm not too good at sculpting, just posing. The armored raptors were the first ones I've seen with a similar scale texture to the lizards themselves.

Answering your question @RandomTsar , i would need to split the figure in the head, as in the tail, in order to edit them separately.

Heres a sneak preview of the 'more accurate' bastilidon.


(looking at the right rear leg, ie bastilidon butt on the left, head on the right)

I had to separate the shell from the rest to make my computer handle it better. The plan is to have it sliced similar to Vidovic did with his dread saurian. Head, body, tail.

This is pretty time consuming, I understand that the hexagons are a lot larger on the GW model, but the base geometry wasn't really in a shape that made larger hexagons look good. So I made a judgment call.
