Articles to print in 3D - Lizardmen / Seraphon

This is a head I had selected, but I might be able to make an alternate head. That would come later haha.
The FW head is slightly more gator-ish but not entirely. I tried to emulate the long teeth of the FW one, but the head shape is slightly different.

I am planning on making armor for it as an option. Next on the list is the standard “magical plating” decoration.

So I will release this model as the “wild” version. And then I will have the decorated one, and then I will release the other howadahs, and then the armored body with all the options.

I am eager to see your designs finish

IMG_20190826_212029.jpg IMG_20190826_212022.jpg IMG_20190826_211952.jpg just printed these on my printer. The KO combat ruler doesn't show up well as the detail lines are small but I plan to paint it which will show it more. Also I printed that steam tank as potential allies for my KO and I have tossed around the idea of trying to 3d print a cities of sigmar army. That would be quite the project though as I would want some really nice models to use for it.

Anybody is encouraged to design the head of the Ferrocutus Cerastes, from King Kong skull Island, to replace the head of the stegadon and create a new species?

An official Stegadon bone skull from AOS would also be needed.

Do you have the link to download this Stl?

Hey guys, I may need some help here. I’m done sculpting the Dread Saurian, but I am having trouble slicing it up for printing. The programs, or at least my experience with them and the way my computer interests with it.

I have it currently as two separate models. The base body and the decoration parts. It’s intended to be cut where some various bands and collars will hide to cut lines when it’s printed and put together. I managed to do it mostly, but I had to use MeshMixer, which dulled the details slightly. Even if I were ok with the details, then the center cut of the torso is causing problems with the way the decorative plates interact with the model. Currently I’ve got it split so that the torso is one big piece, but I’m not certain as to the printabulity of that option.

Anyone able to help?

Do you want me to try to cut it with the Rhinoceros?
I can try the possibility of cutting it in the middle of the body, and the limbs on the other hand, without losing details.

I think it needs the tools from a more mesh-driven modeling program. I’ve not used Rhino, but this has some pretty organic surfaces to try and fix. I’ve got someone who had ZBrush who may be able to help me.

ALTAR OF SACRIFICES

I have finished an intermediate project, which has allowed me to test the functioning of the details in glyphs, which I had created. The Altar of sacrifices is now available.

Awesome work!!!
Would it be possible to make a font so we can write in text editor with such glyphs?

Years ago I did something similar with Kilrathi letters (Wing Commander) so yeah, definitely possible.
I'd just have to dig up the program again, I had some freeware to create true type fonts...somewhere...

Edit:
FontForge or BirdFont could do the job and are free.

Unfortunately, lizard glyphs do not have all the letters. F and J do not exist, for example.

That doesn't matter. Many fonts miss some letters.
You can either double another, phonetically similar, letter or just leave it out and if someone types that letter there will be either a blank or nothing at all.

In the end you propably don't write any texts with them anyway, you basically use the font as a glyph library.
