Great stuff. I especially like the effect you've created on the Slann's palanquin. :)

like the whole theme with your Slan,
Tough I think it could do with a thin black wash
to help it pop and smooth out the chalkiness.

I have not coated my Slann yet, as I have been wanting to finish these two big models:

Bastiladon:

I probably should have made the solar engine, but I like the idea with the snakes (and Soetk). The Ark os Sotek does improve the combat abilities (sort of) of the Bastiladon, so that is something, still I do not have any jungle swarms, so it might have been a waste in a sense.

My new old carnosaur:

This was a long time coming, as it was a lot on and off painting-wise.

Great work on both the old school Carno (which I like better than the new one) and the Bastiladon. The markings on the Carno are a nice touch!

At the moment I am going Carnosaur crazy. Meaning that I have almost just finished my new old Carnosaur, and I am now almost done with anotehr, this time the new model, ind addition to this, I have just ordered another Carnosaur.

It is a little much, but I just love the idea of having these, even though they might not be tactically the best option, but I think I will manage. Not to brag but I am winning almost all my games at the moment (I am not playing in a competitive scene), so going crazy might give my opponents a better chance.

A silly little extra if you want: Try to guess where my insiration came from to the new Carnosaur, that I will post pictures of soon.

Carnosaur = Happy times (until cannons wreck your day of course)

The colours remind me of the movie Avatar.

In the end it is all about the unison of strategy, play-style & implementation. If it is working then don't worry about "net lists". If it ain't broke... don't fix it!

Beware the pic heavy post

I tried to make a very low tech improvised "lightbox". I don't know, the light seems off on some of the pictures (so I took a lot of pictures), but anyway, here goes:
