Overall people are posting pretty well, but there doesn't seem to be anything written down about common protocol for posting army lists and I have seen a few veering off it lately, so just a short thread to remind people and let new people know the ins and outs of posting lists.
-It is against forum rules to post individual point cost. This includes situations where the individual model cost is easily calculated, for example a unit of 10 skinks. If you put the total cost, the model cost is easy to work out, and it breaches GW intellectual property laws. There is no real need to post points at all except for the total of the whole list at the bottom. If you decide to do this it could result in a warning being issued, or a ban if appropriate.
-Make your thread title informative. You should at the very least have the size of the army in the thread title if you don't mention the style of army or setting (tournament, friendly etc) beyond that.
-Don't copy-paste directly from army builder or other programs. This looks very messy and is hard to read. Make your list easy to understand. A good way to write your units is [number] [name], [upgrade].
Example of what NOT to do....
Super Man w/ Power Klaw: 265pt
Super Man w/ Banner: 345pt
Super Man w/ Flamer: 300pt
---------------------------
Total: 910pt
Example of what to do....
Super Man x3
Klaw, Banner, Flamer
---------------------
Total: 910pts
Your post doesn't have to directly copy my format, but you get the idea. If you have any questions feel free to pm any of the mods.
