Are there any other Lego fans out there?

At the moment, I have to work on the project list of doom before I can play with my Lego. :(
This list includes:
1: Putting cabinets in the game room to hold all of the board games and Lego
2: Putting a continuous shelf atop said cabinets running the length of a 12 foot wall for my Lego trains
3: Putting in a new, 20-AMP power outlet in the game room so I can run a nice, BIG space heater down there in the winter and a big AC unit in there during the summer
4: Replacing the flooring (this is long-term, but the current floor is ultra-cheap sheet vinyl and kind of gross now
5: Sorting about 20 years' worth of collected Lego since I have kind of half-assed doing that for a LONG TIME NOW and there's lots of mixed stuff just piled in bags and bins which makes it hard to find the stuff I want to use
and 6: Obtaining Lego dinosaurs because dinosaurs.

Yesterday my Brother and his wife payed us a visit. To our Surprise they brought a present along:

Last weekend my wife and I took the kids to a second hand Lego shop. It is only half an hour drive from home and a 5 minute walk from my office :)

It is just tables of lego pieces and build your hart out. In the end you pay by the kilo or a set price for certain pieces.

This beauty was set up as well:

And for just 1 euro you were able to build a minifig. So my wife decided to make us as minifigs. Here is me:
