AoS AoS: The Future, campaign book contents (updated)

Ahem.... not sure if anyone else noticed but the prices on those new releases are just absurd. I can almost begin to comprehend the 33Eur for the dice shaker but c'mon GW - 25Eur for 1" measuring tool! :eek:o_O:confused:

Is it made of triple refined Turkish Brass alloy attached to a string made of the finest Corinthian Leather?

All it is, is a hunk of something that is 3 inches on one edge by 1 inch on another?
Do the other sides or that curved area do anything?
 
What the hell is a dice shaker? Do we need one? My two hands work just fine. o_O

Every backgammon set comes with two. For 33 Euro you could probably get two dice shakers and a nice backgammon set.

GW had to put the axe to fantasy because it wasn't selling well... with these prices how long before AoS is not selling well? They have lost their minds... that "measuring tool" probably costs them significantly less than a $1 to produce. Who in their right mind would pay US$33 / CDN$40 / AUS$55 for that piece of junk?

To be fair: these things are the limited edition, bespoke, posh versions, for their 2K Überfäns.

Weirdly, I think I had one of those Godzirra movie cupholders. Or was that from the first Jurassic Park?

I still think it is absolutely ridiculous. There is nothing that can justify that price tag. I know it's an expensive hobby... but I think this is going way too far.

EVERY ABILITY on the war scroll is amazing! I am going to finally test the AOS rules this coming up weekend, but won't be using any Troglodon:(

I agree, though... excited to try my Trog. If one manages to summon it into play at 9" away and it causes a wound with its Noxious Spittle, that's kind of a likely charge coming the enemy's way (especially w/ Hunter's Steed)! But even if you don't summon it, it's sooo cool... I loooove that it finally adheres to its fluff and follows the screams. That Venomous Bite, too.. eesh.
 
Why is the Siggy dice cup bigger than the Khorny one?
